We're cancelling our holiday for this year

We were booked to stay for a fortnight in late September down in Southern Spain for 2 weeks with my Mum. We need to pay the balance in a few weeks and Mum really doesn't want to go anywhere right now, let alone abroad, so we are cancelling it so we do not loose any more money. Seems funny as she usually loves going abroad but her mental and physical condition are very low still so we are going ahead with her wishes.

We have suggested that by next Spring she should be fully fit and we will take her somewhere then. We will probably book a late deal after Christmas.

Anyway, this will be the first year that we won't be packing the cases and driving to the airport. Big sigh!

It is always hard to be cheerful when something you were looking forward to is suddenly changed.

Hopefully, you will be able to make that trip next spring!

Sorry to hear that you are cancelling your trip. But I guess it is better to do it now than later and loose most of your money.
