Hi All~
We have just booked our very first trip with the kids to WDW for Aug 12-20, 08.
Were staying at Wilderness Lodge. I'm so excited, I'm gonna burst. It's going to be a surprise X-Mas gift to the kids (if I can keep the secret that long!)
There is so much fantastic information (been lurking for a few days!). I can't wait to really dig into it all. So anyone with Wilderness Lodge tips or first timer info, let me know.

If I were you, I would also have a hard time keeping it to myself. 
We will be staying there again in Jan 08. As a matter of fact, I don't think we'll be staying anywhere but the WL from now on! You could ask to be the Flag Family on one of the days of your stay. That family goes to the top of WL and raises the flags in the morning. I hear it's becoming popular, but you should still ask when you check-in. The electric water pageant goes by at the beach each night (weather permitting) around 9:35pm, and the geyser erupts every hour on the hour from 7am to 10pm. You will be given a newsletter at check-in telling you the specific times and about other activities you can do! Have a magical time
