Well, we've taken the plunge and booked a two night stay at the Marriot villas. I'm so excited.

We are moving to France around the 1st of December from the states. Hopefully DH will be in France before Nov. 7 so we can at least get one free child's pass (does anyone know if this is going to be extended again?). We plan to buy dream passes.

We have 2 daughters ages 4 and 2. We took them to Disneyland in CA this past spring and they had the time of their lives. They are in love with the characters - especially the princesses (is this stating the obvious?).

Anyway, I need some advice as to what are the best attractions/parades/rides, etc for my little girls. I think we will probably do the dinner with the princesses but where else are good places for meet and greet? They have an autograph book from our last trip and look through it almost daily! That was definitely the highlight of their trip - meeting the characters so I want to do as much of that as possible.

I've heard that even if I'm not staying in a DL hotel, that I can go in to meet the characters - is this true? If so, we'll definitely be taking advantage of that.

I'm guessing we'll spend 3 days in the parks but not whole days (little girls get sleepy... and I'm expecting COLD).

OK... I'll do some more reasearch on DLP at Christmas but any advice would be so helpful. I got so excited looking at the pics thread! SO... now I'm posting this and it's 12:30 a.m. in the UK... I'm guessing everyone is asleep. :)

thanks!

Congratulations on booking, Angie :thumbsup2 and I hope your move to France is as stress-free as possible. :wizard:

Your DDs are going to love all the attractions in Fantasyland although the Pinocchio and Snow White rides are a bit dark and the witch is a bit scary  so bear that in mind.

I'm sure they'll also love riding Buzz in Discoveryland and will probably have great fun exploring Adventure Isle in Adventureland.

You must take them to see Animagique in the Studios, that's a brilliant show. :thumbsup2

Apart from the Princess meal at Auberge, the Princesses often do a meet n greet at the Castle stage, I think it was during the afternoon when we were there last month. It's often best to meet characters at the Studios, there don't seem to be so many people queueuing for them there.

Anyone can go visit the characters in the Disney hotels, I think they're around at about 4pm in the Disneyland Hotel. Not sure what time in the other hotels, I think it's probably in the mornings but I'm sure someone else will know........... :)
