We're BACK!!!

Hi Everyone,

Liav and I got back from our week in DLP on Monday morning. I can't believe it's Wednesday evening already and I haven't had a single moment to post! It's been that hectic getting back into work!! Now that I've got time to breathe, I want to start my trip report, and I hope to have the first installment up this evening. All in all we had an absolutely wonderful time! The first 5 days (Monday through Friday) the crowds were very small, and Saturday and Sunday when the HUGE crowds arrived we'd already done what we wanted so we tried not to let it bother us too much. I did feel so very sorry for anyone that came just for that weekend though - it was really too terrible trying to navigate the parks with so many people about.
Anyway, more later!!

By the way, little bit of warning. Sometimes people have had trouble posting up different days of their reports. Best solution is give the thread a short title such as day (without a number). then go back in and edit title to something more descriptive - eg Liav and Jody's Christmas Trip 12 Dec Day 1

Glad you're back, and it sounds like you had a great time! Its funny when I first joined the board I am sure you had just come back from a trip!? I seem to remember flashes of a trip report, and that would have been the first I ever read - I will look forward to this one, Merry Christmas!

Glad you had a great time. In hindsight, we should have gone in the week like you.
We were there during the weekend "when the huge crowds arrived" and suffered for it.
It must have been busier than normally expected as a few people now have made reference to the crowds.
