We're Back : (

Angel, great to hear your experiences too, sometimes I feel I rant but then most of the people on here are as passionate if not more about disney.
With IOA I think it was probably the fact that we thought the express machines would be on later but they never were, soured the experience.
The stroller issue will always be here and different opinions and I don't disagree with you.
Now, the motorised vehicles, I was a little unsure whether to put anything. We saw exactly what you heard from the woman, people would get to a ride and jump of them and almost sprint to the ride, disabled? One of the things that scared me was at night and specially round the lake at epcot, you'd see the light glaring in the distance like an old train then it would disappear, panic would set in, where was it? then out of no whereits on you!!! Sorry little dramatic but happened a cpl of times. Surely you need a disabled badge for them? Oh please I don't mean to offend the genuine people that do need them, just the lazy ones! :rotfl:
Hi Miffy, congrats on becoming a moderator on here, will be looking for more good advice! With regard to the cms, I think that when we went in 2000 it was a real shock to see a rude/ignorant cm, now it's almost what will we get. So yes you could go all holiday with good there are still plenty around, even as far to say the majority.
And finally angel, started already!

We got back on Friday, having been there for two weeks.

We were amazed by how few people there were and how short the lines were, except in the last few days, when it was starting to get silly for things like Peter Pan.

Soarin had a pretty big line most of the time, however using fastpass prevented any problem.

We were at IOA on the Tuesday after Wilma had passed by. No lines of any great length all day. I think the longest we waited was 15 minutes. And DS waited 25 to ride at the front of Dueling Dragons.

I liked Hulk (although DS wimped out after getting to the boarding point). DS and I did Dr Doom's Fear Fall and thought it was a really good queue (15 minutes) followed by a rather tame and disappointing ride. The build up to the ride was far better then the thing itself.

I think the bruises from Spider Man have almost faded. DW sat next to me and was gripping my arm. She enjoyed the ride but found it rather scary.

:) Chris.

I agree with all you say Johnny. We just got back and I was gutted on how busy the parks were. Not so much the 1st 2 days of Nov but from then til we left on the 7th the lines were long, at all the disney parks and Universal. When you talk about the stoller problem I would like to add users of electric wheelchairs into that. It seems to me that you get a stroller/wheelchair in one for some people. Elderly people in their chairs with the grandkids on their laps. Presumably they have some problem with their legs if they are in a chair. As a nurse I would think having a 501b plus kid on you lap would not be the best thing!!!!!! God I hate cynical people!!!!! well having just returned you would know why. I might start to campaign to ban all users of electirc wheelchairs in the parks unless they have a genuine drs certificate stating their disability. That will cut 3/4 of queue jumpers!!!!! Sorry people, rant over.
