I've opened one suitcase and told the girls to throw in odds and ends they want to take. So far it has 2 electrical plug adapters, and some travel size toiletries...:lmao:

LOL As long you also chuck in passports and credit cards/cash you'll be right :) That's what I always say to myself as we're driving to the airport!:rotfl:

Guess the girls are planning on shopping :P

How exciting for you :cool1:. Wish I was close to taking a trip ( or even planning one). I hope you all have a fantastic time.

You bet! Last time we went the $US:$AUS was so bad we virtually had to double the price of things to figure out how much we were really paying. This time as it's around parity, bargains really will mean bargains. I think we will go a little crazy buying clothes, shoes and cosmetics

The shopping is so damn good in the US. We are intending to go with a serious plan on our next trip, buying sneakers and jeans, etc. for the kids for a few years out.

At Macy's in Oct 2010 I bought 10 Clinique Foundations :rotfl2:. I've still got lots to go. The woman thought I was mad but they were only $19 and I pay $50 back here so I bought 10 :lmao:

I did the same thing, and was lucky that Clinique had one of their promotions where you receive a gift bag full of goodies - needless to say a few of these came home with me.

Over Christmas a friend commented that my DD had a lot of OPI, I told her it was only $7 a bottle in the USA so we each came home with some.

At this point I wanted to thank all those on the DIS boards and especially the Aussies who have given me invaluable advice and information. If all runs smoothly then it will be thanks to you guys out there. :surfweb::lovestruc:worship:

If there are hiccups then I will blame DH :thumbsup2
