Hi all first chance to post since returning last week. Had a great time
Highlights:
Watching Orlando magic was amazing
Wrestlemania even though not a wrestling fan a great event
Paramore at Hard Rock Live
Mardi Gras at universal, haha you would have thought the beads were real gold
Hard Rock Hotel
Pelican Grand Beach resort Fort lauderdale really nice hotel shame its not on the gulf coast
meeting mick foley at hard rock hotel kids loved it (me and son hehe)
Hilton Garden inn no problems at all, even better now the old barman who used to work the hut at the old wynfield inn is now there
Flippers pizza 4 nights in a row new record hehe

the drive from miami to orlando is not nice if you do it soon as you land, for those who are taking a laptop away make sure you take your discs if you need to recover/reinstall the windows. Ours went down after 2 days and was a bit of a nightmare to get it back up again cheapest i could find a windows xp cd was over $200 . will get doris to start on a trip report

Welcome home, BiGGy. We went to a Magic game in January for the first time ever and had a fantastic time. Even for those not into sport, it's a sheer entertainment spectacle and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Hard Rock Live is such a great venue - small and intimate. At the risk of making a complete fool of myself (nothing new there, then ), I don't have a clue who either Paramore or Mick Foley are.

I know what you mean about the beads! And little old ladies are the worst!
