Welcome back, so glad you had a magical trip! I am always trying to persuade my mum to come with us, I'll have to tell her about your Dad. I don't know how old your children are but three of mine are now in their twenties and the youngest is 17 and they all had a fantastic time when we went last week. We hadn't all been together for a long time but I hope we continue to do it, even occasionally, for many years to come.

I'm 24 and my sister is 19 - we celebrated my dad's 64th birthday there this week and couldn't have had a better time. There's more drinking involved in our trips these days, as you'll see when I get around to my trip report, but no less fun!
That was the first time we'd all been there together in 18 years - dad only came once in 1994 - but it's the start of a new tradition i think. He can't wait to go back!

He, he - I shouldn't assume we are all mums (or dads)! Funny to think you are the ages of my kids! Well I still want to get my mum out here and she is a fair bit older than your dad.

My seventeen year old is planning his first trip WITHOUT us now, him and four friends hope to go in the Christmas holidays so we must have done something right. A true DLP family. Now when will it change to our children taking us with them?

Well, that Orange deal Johnny Boy describes is the one I got that I thought was pretty good, maybe it isn't? But I was more than happy to pay £3 a day and know it wouldn't go over that. I used the Disneyland Paris app constantly, I also checked emails and facebook, and popped on the Dis a couple of times to give weather and crowd updates
The Disneyland Paris app worked brilliantly, I had read reviews saying you don't always get a good enough signal but I never had any issues. Just up to each person to decide if £3 a day is a price worth paying for access to that and other internet facilities you might use.

It's not too bad actually, I think it was just the prices of the other bundles are really poor. 30Mb should be enough even for me using DW's phone to check email etc. (there is no similar deal for PAYG). I go over my 250Mb iPhone allowance a lot so I was worried about such a small amount but it's per day so should be ok. What worried me was their opt out clause for the cap on prices, but if you stay under then you should be ok. We had a cheaper deal with O2 last year where it was 10Mb for £2 IIRC but they only charged what you used up to 10Mb and we hardly used anything. We're there for 4 days and if it saves time, it could be worth it. 3 give me 1Mb for just over £1 but that's my iPad and too bulky to take round the parks and the Ornage deal looks better.

This sounds a lot better than the bill i was given last yr, we spend 3 days at dlp and was charged £54 just for those 3 days and that was only facebook and emails
