Hi all :wave2:

Well we are back after a most magical trip to Florida and i thought you might like a few of our highs and lows. I will do a trippy at some point in the near future and add some piccys for those that might be interested.

Highs

Virgin' V-room wow what a calm oasis with lovely food, drink, kids area, adults only area and fantastic views of the runway. great value for money.

Virgin Atlantic PE from LGW to MCO and back again! left bang on time both flights and got us into LGW this morning 1/2 an hour early Fantastic service from the cabin crew both ways decent food (By airline standards) loads of drinks too and lovely comfy seats. The aircraft was spotless both ways.
Can't praise them enough.

Virgin Holidays reps at MCO they were everywhere directing us at every turn. Great!

Disney's Beach Club Wow! what a resort, it has fantastic pool (Stormalong Bay) A great beach overlooking Disney's boardwalk (5mins walk) 10 mins stroll to Epcot 5 mins stroll to boat to Disney's Hollywood studios which takes 25 mins.
Disney movies on the beach every evening great for kids (and adults too!)

Getting a free upgrade to concierge level at Disney's Beach club with a water/Spaceship Earth view because it was our 12th wedding anniversary.
The free food and drinks in the Stone Harbour Club were really good. (More on that in the trippie)

There are lots of other things about the Beach club that are fantastic but i will add those to my trippy.

The Disney dining plan is so worth the money it is more food than we could eat and the snack portion can be used in the shops for certain items up to the value of $4 (eg. Pez dispensers or boxes of character cookies)

Expedition Everest Just WOW! loved it

Sorin' (sp) Loved it

Loved all our ADR's will do proper reviews in the trippie.

Lots of other things too many to mention here

Lows

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! It poured with rain all day and Disney should have cancelled it an gave us a refund or a credit note for another night of our choice but no we all had to stand around waiting for stage shows that never happend and parades and fireworks that were 1/2 an hour late trying to fit them in between the rain storms. We left the park at 10 past 10 soaked to the skin and at $56 each it was a little hard to swallow. To be honest i am not sure it is good value for money rain or no rain i don't think we would do it again.

The prices! Boy have they gone up so much since we were last there i know it it the same everywhere but we did notice a real hike this time.

Stitches great escape! Absolutley pointless IMHO

Lights, Motors, Action Stunt Show. What is that all about?

It should be called :

A bit of tame action a load of waffle a few flashes a load more waffle Look at our cars more waffle show.

Sorry it might be just me.

Not much else really. Can't wait to get back.

Thanks for reading :cool1:

Welcome back, Steve. I really enjoyed reading your highs and lows.

If you ever go in September/October, try the Halloween party instead - much better value for money with loads of 'free' candy!

Laur's xx
