After we finished at Ft.Wilderness,we caught a bus to MK bus stop and boarded a bus for the Swan and Dolphin resort. Both of those two places reminded me of our stay at the Peabody that I mentioned in part 4.I taped them, but I didn't like the atmosphere at all.It felt like another one of those uppity attitude places that I don't care for.I had always heard good things about the Swan and Dolphin, but seeing them for myself,I wasn't impressed at all. While in the Swan before going to the Dolphin,it started raining and lasted for about a good 30 minutes. When it let up,we then went over to the Dolphin. From there,we caught the canal boat and went to the entrance to Disney/MGM Studios and caught a bus back to our 'good ole' AllStar Music Resort.Had supper at Intermission and enjoyed it once again,as I posted in part 1 or 2.We didn't have enough time to go to the other resorts. We will do those next year.On Saturday, the day we headed home,we went to Marketplace, pleasure Island, and Downtown Disney to tape and look around before we had to hit the road.We go there at least twice each trip, but this time we only went there to shop just on Saturday. This year,we didn't eat at Rainforest Cafe.I think I am burned out on the place. Now we have never had a bad meal there at all.(Remember what I said about bad post reviews in the restaurant thread). But I just didn't want to eat there this year.Last year,we ate there three times!
On Friday,we went to the newly opened place down there,it's right off of the Conroy Rd. exit off of I-4.It is the Holy Land Experience. This place was awesome! It's very inexpensive,$17 for adults,$12 for children.Whether you are a Christian or not,I highly reccommend all to go there. It is very close to authentic to the real Holy Land in Jerusalem.I love Disney, but I think this place was the highlight of our trip.I give it a 10 on a scale from 1-10.10 being the best. All in all, this was a very good trip.We didn't go to Old Town or Guiness or Ripley's,(already been to the Titanic exhibition),or some of the other off-park places, mainly stayed on Disney property, rode the buses around, went to the parks and resorts and loved it.Now,I am looking forward to next year!Any suggestions?Bye!
