Hey guys, We are back from disney. I have been to disney in all 4 seasons since the opening but this was the most erie feeling seeing so few people. Don't get me wrong i loved having the elbow space !!We orginally stayed at the fort wilderness cabins but later switched to the wilderness lodge. First of all there weren't many people in the cabins at our loop. The water was brown (i think it had been empty for awhile) cable was out. The stay at the wl was wonderful as usual. We had a message waiting for us to stay additional nights at a low cost. 6 nights was our limit but if we had had the time i would of stayed. My parents joined us and hubby & I had a wonderful meal at california grill. Having 6 kids we don't get out much and wasn't use to such pampering by the staff. Such a treat. We went to universal studios for the first time. Kelsey went on cat in the hat which she loved and it was nice to see they also offered wheelchair space for some of their rides. Because the rides had no waiting i went on the jurassic park ride. I hate roller coasters but can tolerate water rides. I had no idea this was a thrill ride and the drop made my heart feel like it was in my throat:eek: i am not sure of the height but never again.... we ate at hard rock cafe. The manager said (not sure if this is reliable) at the swan & dolphin they were moving guest to different rooms to keep them together since so many reservations had been cancelled. He said the resorts were at 7-11% capacity. Not sure if that was on or off disney property. The security into the parks was good. Having security check all the bags going into the park made me feel better as well as security at the resorts making sure you had business there. At the end of the trip we ate at animal kingdom lodge's Boma. This was the best meal i have ever had at disney and would definetely recommend it. Talk about a cuisine buffet. My favorite dessert was cheesecake tarts.yum!
I love going to disney always will but we won't be going until the ride in epcot is complete. Can't recall the name but it has to do with nasa. We are going to try the beach club resort next time. We saw some construction going on.

Thanks for putting a report here. Sounds like you had a good time despite the strangeness of the situation.
I do NOT think I would like the Jurasic park ride if it has a drop like that, but maybe next time we will try to go to Universal and try it out.

Sounds like you had a good time despite the lack of attendance and recent events.

:earseek: I looked up the ride on the universal web site. 85 ft yikes. It's a good thing i didn't know that in advance.
