We're back! 6 days of rain and extended family 8/17-8/23! updated 9/29, day three!!

Nothing really new to update guys...sorry!! I am almost finished packing...just have to wait for our clothes now. ;)

Ty's suitcase is ready though! My best friend bought him a Thomas the Tank Engine suitcase before he was born. It's the perfect size for a carry-on and will fit all his stuff plus our suits since we plan on swimming when we get to SSR.

I bought luggage tags from disneyshopping.com, on clearance, and attached those. Although my dad, who worked for NorthWest Airlines, said to attach them with a zip tie...NOT the "leather" straps they give you. He said he can't count how many he found ripped off in the baggage areas. So I did that today! :thumbsup2

I haven't heard from my sister..neither has my dad. I did have to tell my 87yo grandpa she fell off the wagon. he had sent me money to pay for her ticket as another reward. I just returned her ticket to undercovertourist.com and am waiting for my credit. I offered to give him the money back but he said to keep it. I know he was very sad about the news.

I have a list on the fridge of things that MUST get done before we leave the house Sunday (at 3:45 AM mind you!!! :scared1: ) We had some flooding in our basement that DH fixed..now we just have to straighten it back up. I also want to clean the house 110% (just like you Dawn!) I hate coming home to a dirty house. So I will do that Saturday. DH also has to clean the gutters. I am pretty fearful of the basement flooding again when we are gone but my best friend will be stopping by 4 times to feed the cats/fish so she can check it out.

Enough rambling!!! :rotfl: Just wanted to let you guys know not much is going on. I just can't believe I only have 8 days left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

I realized I forgot to post a pic of my dad's tickets!! I think he will have the Mickey one, his fiance the Cinderella one of course and then her son the seven dwarfs one (he's grumpy! :rotfl: )

you're so close!!!! just watch.....this week will fly by!

I also want to clean the house 110% (just like you Dawn!) I hate coming home to a dirty house.

 the problem with that and this september trip is that i can clean the house before i leave and it will still be dirty when i come home because DH will be there the whole time! :headache:

A week from tomorrow we will be leaving!!! :wizard:

I hear you about the dirty house Dawn...will Ray do some chores while you are gone????? ;)

I wonder how many new pics of Ty I will be able to add before they shut me down? :rotfl:

Hi Cathy! :goodvibes I don't think I am one to ask....I have never reserved anything through the website since I do all my reservations through DVC. I have a feeling you won't be able to reserve anything until you have your AP in your hand and can then enter the info on the website. I am sure you are able to add dining though later on! I would call..I don't want to tell you the wrong information!! :confused3
Ok I did end up calling and I can do it! So I think I will get the ap for my Christams present (early) and then see what's up....thanks! :goodvibes

Awwww I love the pic of the two of them :cutie:

One week! So excited for you! It will be fun to hear how Ty enjoys your trip!

and it will still be dirty when i come home because DH will be there the whole time! :headache:

I was thinking this too but Matt will actually do a better job than me of keeping things straight :thumbsup2

He won't really 'clean' but I think it will look pretty good when I get home :goodvibes

ONE WEEK!!!!!!!!!! :yay: :woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo: :yay:

5 Days!!!

Of course I don't count today!! ;)

I have my huge list of housework to do on Sat....we are dropping off the dogs to DH's parents in the afternoon so I plan to do it after that. DH has one more crack I found in the basement floor to fix.

I started going over my ADRs again....trying to find a way to make Narcosse's fit. I know my dad would love the whole lobster!! We have never been but have ADRs there for Dec. They did have availablity for us but it would have been two tables. I didn't think that was much fun. So I think we will pass. I think when it gets down to the last week, and everything is done, I start double checking things and my brain keeps insisting things could be improved upon! :rotfl:

not ray! i love him to death and he's an awesome cook but he's sooooooo messy when i'm not there! i'm scared of what my house will look like when we get back on monday!

i do the same thing! it's called disney OCD.

GRR!!!!!!!

So I ran out to the petstore to get something for my fish...I have left the dogs alone before, out of their "dog room", with no problems.

Not today!!!!!

I came home to find all Ty's travel size formula (they are in 4 oz sleeves, perfect for traveling! :thumbsup2 ) eaten along with his boxed cereal. They also decided to chew open a box of tampons, rip open two ziploc bags full of batteries and disposable bibs. Let's not forget the container full of brown sugar (for my dad) was chewed pretty bad but they didn't get it open. All of this stuff was in our suitcases which have been out for weeks!! It wasn't anything new. Thanks guys!!!

They knew they were in trouble b/c when I came in the door they all ran for the other room. When I found the scene of the crime (strewn through 3 rooms!) they were all hiding. Hmm. Guilty anyone???

So now they are outside and they still know they are in trouble. Instead of coming to greet me they just wag their tails from wherever they are.

I don't have any more travel formula, and I am not buying more b/c it's $$!! I am just going to bring an 8oz. container. According to AirTran's website you can bring more then 3oz of formula if you have a baby with you.

Naughty dogs!!! :headache:

so sorry about your naughty doggies! just keep them in canine time out for the rest of the day to teach them a lesson. i'm not a mommy but i have heard how expensive that formula stuff is.....:headache:

i was just getting ready to come over here and celebrate your ever-decreasing countdown!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

All I have left to do is clean..packing is done except for the few items DH has in the laundry basket. I mowed the lawn today and called dining just to see if WCC opened for dinner rather then lunch. No go of course. I warned DH again tonight how early we have to get up Sunday...he didn't want to be reminded! :rotfl:

GRRRRRRRR about the baby formula! Similar story, my mom spent all day cooking a Thanksgiving meal. She was having company and I think had to run out quickly to the store to buy something right before company came. Well, the dog heard her leave, jumped up on the counter to get to the cooling turkey on the stove, pushed it off and comsumed a whopping half a turkey before she returned (and made a huge mess). :sad2: She knew something was wrong when she walked in the door and the dog had his tail between his legs. Funny story now....not so much that day. I think everyone ended up eating ham for Thanksgiving! :headache:

One thing you might want to try. They make small snack size zip lock bags. (They are about 1/3 size of a sandwich bag) You could measure out your scoops (what 4 for an 8 oz bottle???) in each baggie and zip it shut. Then you can take a few of those each day and they are already divided and put them in the water in the bottle. I always warmed the water in the microwave, added the formula, and shake shake shake. That way the formula doesnt spoil.

I am sooo excited for you! :woohoo: Keep calling even that day for the ADR's you want. They always save a few spots and you can get them!!! You're going to Disney in two days!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Have a wonderful trip and enjoy the time with your dad and all!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:3 MORE DAYS!!!!!!
:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

I'm sorry about your crazy dogs. We from time to time discuss the fact that we are VERY glad Dodger is not a big dog. He would be a freakin' TERROR!!!!

He is 12 years old and still gets into everything. :confused3

We did not have reservations at WCC last year... and arrived at 5:00 and were seated quickly... so you might try to walk up when they open if you really want dinner and it works in your schedule.

Ray's dog ate a thawing pot roast off the counter a few years back...did $350 of damage to her stomach!! She would do it again in a heartbeat!! :rotfl:

Thanks for the formula tip! I found a sample can of 8oz. I think I will just take that or do what you suggested :thumbsup2
