For the 3rd Thanksgiving we are venturing to WDW.
Let me just give you a little background on how as a young couple we can do this..
It's simple, my inlaws are Disney FREAKS! They have been going every Thanksgiving for 20+ yrs now! And, now they want to bring all the grandkids, and treat them..
We are simply lucky enough to only have the three of us in our family (Me, DH and DD), So, We get to go and share a room with them for free! They even treat us for airline tix! They like to stay deluxe concierge, which helps us out with our food bill :thumbsup2 .
We love my dh's parents and are so very greatful for them taking us each yr.

Setting the stage:

Picture it.. sitting by Stormalong Bay last year 2005, and my MIL asks us if we want to come back this yr (2006), But we would be staying at WL.. I was like "I could care less WHERE we stay, i am just grateful to be able to come back again!!" :goodvibes So, we began the planning, and booked the WL before we even left WDW last yr..
Well, after one of my nieces (16) dropped out of coming to WDW, we decided to switch resorts - only no availability at the BC, so we decided on the YC. I am so thrilled to be back at my SAB!! Yea!

Now, the planning begins!! After finding out about the DIS boards, life would never be the same!
We booked all our ADR's (which we didn't do last yr or the yr before!) and made our itinerary, which looks like this:

The first "bunch of us" (11)total:

Sun. 11/19, wake up early, head to airport to catch a 7am flight! (gotta love getting on the early flight!) , arrive in Orlando by 10:30 ish.. Catch the Magical Express bus to the YC, hopefully arriving at the YC by noon or before..
Not planning on doing any parks this day (yet)!
Eating at Cape May Cafe for 5:50pm. All 14 of us!! (others will be in Orlando already)

Monday 11/20- Heading out early to go to AK for a.m. EMH to ride EE!! :Pinkbounc Then heading over to MGM for the rest of the day/night and eating lunch at Hollywood and Vine (Play and Dine).

Tuesday 11/21- MK all day. Then break for supper at Chef Mickeys (a first for us!) Then back to MK to watch Wishes.

Weds. 11/22 - Epcot all day. Probably eat at Beaches and Cream

Thursday 11/23- Early to MK (yes, we are nuts.. but TG day wouldn't be official without a visit to the MK on TG!) :wizard: and then over to the HHDR for dinner at 7pm.. hmmmm.. bbq for TG dinner?? oh well.
(It's the inlaws fav, and they even know the waiter by name)

Friday 11/24 - Off to DTD, my dd's first time there.. Hopefully to shop til we drop.. Then 3pm appt. at the BBB for DD and my niece (my treat to them), As i get to watch and snap pics of them being transformed into beautiful princesses... :wizard: princess:
Then we are off to 1900 park Fare (me, dh and dd only) for a nice dinner with our new little princess.

Sat. 11/25 - wake up, head out to Poly for breakfast at O'hanas with Lilo and Stitch.
Then back to the pool, and maybe DTD for a bit.. then have our "farewell lunch" at Beaches and Cream, and dream about next yr's trip before we head to the airpt. that night.................... :guilty:

I love to hear how parents or in-laws get Disney and share the vacation with their grown children and grandchildren.

Hope you have a great time.
