and my it was so busy we could hardly move..we go quite regularly and I have not seen it this busy in a while so I can now say that Christmas is well and truly on it way.

DD had a Winnie the pooh money box from the Disney store which we got for her when she was only 3 months old, well today she was putting some money in knocked it of and it smashed, so we went to the Disney Store to get her a new one, as it is Christmas there was not a lot of choice as they have all the Christmas stuff in. she chose a heffalump one, was really sad to see the other one go, it was a limited edition one as well and we had thought it would be something she'd keep till adulthood. though I was just glad she was not hurt, would of been very nasty if it had hit her foot.

The Disney store was also packed, my sister wants Nightmare before Christmas stuff for her present from me this year so I will have to go back, think I will go on a week day.

I love going to the Trafford Centre, we were there two weeks ago and it was busy but not packed. Glad you managed to get some shopping done :thumbsup2

We went last Saturday.. DH and DS went to the United match.. and me and my mum hit the Trafford Centre!!

Shops are starting to get busy now particularly the ones in town. I went yesterday afternoon. I was lucky cause I only went to Tesco and Woolies. I'm fortunate that I work in the city, so I tend to nip out during the day. After next week I won't be venturing out shopping at the weekend ;)

Know what you mean, Minniespal...
I've got to go to London, on business, on 20th December.. am dreading it!!
I've got to catch a tube.. I'll get squashed!!

I know exactly what you mean Florence, that's why I always start my Christmas shopping so early, I would hate to be in long queues at the checkouts now

I'm beginning to feel that I'm the only person who hasn't bought a single, solitary Christmas pressie yet

I spent a day in Leeds last week and another in Meadowhall but came back, both times, empty handed and harrassed :confused3

I think it's time to hit the online shopping sites ;)
