.....and they made us sign the back and then they entered the our names into the computer. Not a big deal but just wanted to share. The CM insisted we sign. This is the first time we've had to. It's also the first time in many years we've actually picked up tickets at the booth.

After, we checked out DTD, bought some treats at Marceline's, and then went to the Hearthstone Lounge for warm drinks and cocoa for the kids. :cloud9:

This began late last Spring. It appears to be random if you are asked to sign them.

Yummy cocoa and treats. Sounds like a good start.

One hint - write down all the numbers of your tickets (long number on back at bottom - may be sequential if all tickets issued at same time) and keep them in a safe place. If you lose a ticket, that the number to guest services booth and they can replace it.

Hope you have a magical time!

Or take a photo....I did that in April just in case. :) Now we have APs so they can find us easier but I felt better with the photos of the tickets. :)

This only works in Florida, unless there hav been recent changes, Disneyland wil NOT replace a lost ticket. (Or so their official line goes, but there are ways around that, especially if purchased with a CC).

We do the same and then copy them to both phones.

This reminds me of our trip a few years ago. I was stepping out of the "log" on Splash Mountain and just happened to glance down. My daughter's ticket was laying in a puddle of water on the seat!! I had dislodged it while putting my camera away before the final drop.

Oh yes, they absolutely do replace lost tickets at DL. While it has not happened to me personally I know plenty of others it has happened to and they had the tickets replaced because they had signed them and they had the numbers on hand for proof.

Yikes, glad you found it!! We found a 2 day hopper ticket just a couple weeks ago (last minute non planned visit) sitting on top of a FP machine, we turned it in of course. I just hope the user had the number written down or remembered where they left it because it was NOT signed. The CM we turned it in to said it happens all the time and it would be replaced for them if necessary. I guess it's possible whoever left it there was leaving but it was pretty early in the day so we wanted to be sure it was turned in.
