Well, their annual christmas music concert was tonight. DD's are in 1st and 4th grade. Each grade took turns taking the stage singing a few christmas songs. The stood on the raised platform thingys....

Anyway, the show is usually quite comical since it seems VERY unorganized etc...but is nice just the same.

Anyway..I brought my video camera this time....DD's 4th grade was on stage....they sang the first song....then they sang "Let there be peace on earth".....(that song usually brings tears to my eyes..I love that song!).....

Anyway...near the end of it...a boy smack dab in the middle and on the top riser....lets just say...."lost his cookies"!!!! The kids just parted a space in front..moving to the right and left of the poor kid. So....the poor kid just continued to "you know" as the others finished up the song!!!

Finally the principal made her way to stage to take him away. How terrible for the poor kid!!!

The rest of the concert consisted of the kids trying not to "step" in it on the risers.....and there was a huge gap in the middle because of the mess (they put that saw dust stuff on it)....

A couple numbers later...the curtain opened up with the maintenance guys on stage cleaning the rest...they thought another number was ready and opened the curtain.

I will have to check out the video I took.....I am sure I got it.....YUCK!!!

Bless his heart. He will never forget this Christmas program, poor thing :(

How terrible for him and the other children. Yuck!

Something is making the rounds at my daughter's school right now. She said that 26 kids or 1/4 of her core (4 main classes) were gone this morning and several more went home feeling like they were going to throw up. Made me wonder how many were gone in the whole school. I sure hope she doesn't bring it home to us.

Imagine the video his poor parents now have!!

:p

That's definitely something you should send to America's Funniest Home Videos. Poor kid.

Oh no! The poor kid! He will forever be remembered for that! I still remember the kid in 5th grade (and that was in 1970!!) who lost it during our chorus rehearsal for Robin Hood. (He had a cheese sandwich for lunch) How funny the things your mind chooses to remember...

Oh man! When that poor child is 40 years old the FAMILY will no doubt be showing his video for entertainment!! LOL LOL

Always interesting what you can capture on film isn't it? :D

how awful.

there was a girl at my dd's concert who was ill all over the music teacher --- fortunately before they went onto the stage.

awww poor little guy! I bet he was miserable!! (I bet the kids around him were miserable too! yuck!)

no offense, but that would be great for america's funnest home videos. They show stuff like that all the time

when I was in second grade one boy threw up and a couple of other kids threw up after him because it got on them
