$120 Later

Of course thats not all for the swap;) Had to pick up a few new things for me too!

All the 'limited' sents were florals though :( and my swap person doesn't want floral - so no limited editions for them then!:)

My DS-2 LOVED it there too -

We went right to the 'HOME' of Yankee Candle' in Deerfield MA.

Jenny2 and I were worried about 3 kids under the age of 2 1/2 in a HUGE candle emporium! But they were GREAT! We were there for over 3 hours!:p

Boy am I glad that I shopped for mine online... a lot harder to buy things for yourself that way ;)

What were the limited edition scents? I haven't been to the store in a while :)

;) The Deerfield store is like going on a fieldtrip -

they have 'limited' sents, about 10 different HUGE 'theme' rooms (kitchen, bath, toys, christmas, mideval, etc), candle dipping, a seconds room, a Fudge shop (yum - yum), a resturant, a lunch bistro, a little 'stage' show with animated characters, Santa, a Train that runs through a few rooms (DS's favorite part), Fountains, bridges, all Kids of neat stuff!
They had changed it around since my last visit and we kept getting lost it is SO big!

Holy cow! ROAD TRIP!

After the thaw, of course! :D :D :D :D

 The place is MOBBED during foliage season! But today it was DEAD - maybe 40 people in the entire place!

Ohhhhhhhh..........I WANT to go!!

Glad you had such a good time!

I am so jealous!!! I love that store soooo much. Glad you had a good shopping day.

:bounce::wave::bounce:

Patty where in MA are you and how long did it take you to get there? I am in Randolph, about 15 miles south of Boston, shame on me for never ever going there. :(

I am in Gardner -
and it took about 40 minutes or so. (I had to p/u and d/o a friend a little out of the way so that is a questimate!
It is VERY easy to get too....
Follow Rte 2 to 91 (I think?) Then you see the signs off the highway before Springfield.
Great Day Trip -
Just don't forget your money! LOL:)

I don't think I've ever been in a Yankee Candle store. I don't think there are any in my area. Sounds like you had fun shopping :)

:) I am very lucky to live so close to the 'home' of the Yankee Candle! I know our local mall has a 'store' but i would rather drive the extra and enjoy all they have to offer in Deerfield!

Hmmm PattyT... I'm not sure if we're lucky or not... my checking account would beg to differ, lol!

I meant to send you an email and tell you I had a great time shopping the other day. It helps that the kids were practicly angels :) We're REALLY in for it the next time we take the troups anywhere, LOL!
