Went On Everest!!!

I went on Expedition Everest today and boy was it great!! It was everything that I was wishing and hoping it would be. The yeti looks great. The line to get into it is very detailed and cool looking. I can not wait until the AP opening comes so I can ride it again. It is too short though! If you like roller coasters you should love it.

WOW! Was it scary? Because i'm going in April and I don't like scary rides

I wouldn't call it scary but then again I am not really scared by roller coasters. I think it is pretty tame. When you are going backwards you can really feel the g forces against you but that is about as intense as it gets. You only see the actual yeti for about 5 seconds. This attraction will really bring more people to the Animal Kingdom.

Thank goodness! Mission space did me so did Space mountain. Here's a tip if I may share it...

Don't send your little kids on Space Mountain unless they want to. My family made me go on. I was ready to jump my dad held onto me....after that I was scared of the dark

OT: Fun Fact! Did you know that Rock 'n' Roller Coaster holds more g's than Mission space!? At the starting launch in RNR you are pulled to about 5 g's going forward! In mission space you are spinning at 4 g's! Heh, I am huge RNR fan! Fast Fast Fast is just the way I like it!

Cool! I'd love to be able to ride it someday. It was one of the excuses to try to convince my boyfriend that we should go there someday. But that won't happen now.

haven't been on haunted mansion or dinosaur, don't like skeletons, alien, (it's a small world), malestrom, some other things i don't remember

I reall y want to ride this so bad it is making my heart hurt!! AK is a secret love of mine, and adding this ride made my love run deeper. Not just because they added another ride...but how much effort and work the imagineers put into building it. Taking trips around the worls, using authentic ideas, and really following what it would look like in Nepal near Everest. This is Disney's chance to raise the bar on itself, and I beleive they have done just that!

When I heard the podcast with Joe Rohde's interview discussing how they
conducted research for this attraction, I knew right then I would love to
go on it. (I can listen to this man talk for days. He's got fascinating stories
to tell.)

I don't have any trips planned for 2006, so that means I might have lots of
DVC points for 2007.
