Wellness Dog food users????

Today is the third week that we have used the special mix chicken one and I have to say that our dogs hair has grown back in....she had a few spots that she itched them off....

want to know if going to the weight management food will change anything?

It shouldn't... When we moved our kitties off of wellness (money) omg did their coats get knotty!! We switched them back and the knots are gone. The better food you feed your pets the better their coats are.

There are lots of high quality pet foods out there. DH was shocked when he saw Wellness being carried in Petco. We go to a feed store or a high end pet food/feed store that isn't quite local.

I don't know about the weight management. Our dog seemed to develop food allergies and would get an itchy rash in his groin area that he would always be at. We have used Wellness for our yellow lab for a little over a year. We buy the white fish and sweet potato. He hasn't had a problem since he started eating it.

thanks for your info.......we started this because our dalmatian was itching and was eating her tail in the middle....it looked kinda funny just the skin showing.....so someone told us to look at this food and we googled it and it has been amazing in these three weeks.....she has hair growing back and not itching at all.......she was on the vet perscribed food for weight loss ....expensive ...very expensive.....so we would rather have a chunky monkey then a mexican hairless.......very happy so far......
