yeh my family came over to england last month and they bring there grandson and he was telling me about the grades and i was totally confused!!we have a primary school-4 till 11 year olds, secondary school 11-16, college 16-18 and universty 18-22. by the way you dont have to go college over hear you can leave school when you are 15 or 16.

in my state they changed the legal drop out age to 18. so at least people can get a steady degree to get them some sort of money.

i don't know if its the same in other states.

if i remember, you can't leave school until your 18 in most states... where we can leave at 16. (Stating what's already been said )

But we start a year earlier then them which makes sense of why the grades are like 6th Grade is yr 7 and yr 11 is 10th Grade.

school is starting too soon, i don't have the money for the parking permit at my school [which a ridiculous price btw (75.00)] I had to ask my parents for it.
but i can't wait until prom!!.
