Well, who'da ever thunk?

Last night I started taking a new med. called Bextra (tried celebrex but it hurt my tummy ) and I'm also giving my 16yo dog 'Buckalew' an anti-inflammatory drug called Deramaxx.
I guess we are growing old together!

I'm taking it for my back pain which was first thought to be a kidney infection and for my heel pain. I have only taken 1 pill and this a.m. I could actually walk when I got out of bed! I'm hoping this helps because I was beginning to wonder how I would ever walk around WDW!

Anyway, there is nothing like growing old with man's best friend!

I know how you two feel.

Every morning I take a blood pressure pill and I give the dog an aspirin for his arthritis. There have actually been days when I remember to give him his pill but forget to take my own.

Awwww, two Bucks, feeling better!!! Hoping the new meds keep helping you, Bren. Is that a new one for Bucky too?

I was originally on Celebrex for the arthritis in my knees, did not agree with me. He put me on Bextra, which did not seem to help a lot, and now on Vioxx for the past few months, which does seem to be working well (though I still can't skate with the kids like Dorothy Hamill.

Growing old? You? Hardly. Nice to hear you are doing better. Now get planning that WDW.

It's nice to know we're all growing old together here on the CB, Buck! Last night I started taking Tramadol for my neck pain. It causes drowsiness so thus I didn't last too long on the DIS!!!

I'm glad that the Bextra is helping you Buck. I'll have to tell my mother about this medication so far nothing helps her more than aspirin and sometimes that doesn't help either
