and all I can say about Lake Louise and Banff is a big WOW!!
flew Westjet on the way out and was a super flight - had the tv's on the back of the seats and the kids didn't even end up using 3/4 of the keep busy things they packed b/c we got them a movie!! Wasn't impressed with the A/C flight on the way home - just wasn't as good as the Westjet flight!!
Stayed at the Chateau Lake Louise right on Lake Louise and WOW what service - was nice getting to the valet's and them calling us by our Mr. and Mrs without us having to tell them who we were (did that at the gate getting in so they must have radio'd ahead.) They had a harpist in the lounge and well it was just a beautiful hotel!
Did the hike around the lake and it's the most beautiful colour - kids saw 3 avalanches and thought that was cool! Saw the sun rise over the mountains and that was a sight to see (still on TO time so I was up at 5am every day!!) Went back to Banff Saturday and stayed at the Rimrock - another nice hotel and we were upgraded to a better room then we had booked

Did the Banff Gondola, walked the main drag, took the kids on a trail ride (the highlight for my cowboy lovin 6yo), did the Johnston Canyon trail (5miles uphill both ways - or it sure felt like it
) saw lots of wildlife - elk, coyote, deer, mountain goats, big horned sheep, chip and Dale, )
Headed back to Calgary on Sunday as our flight left at 1pm Calgary time (or was supposed to - delayed due to computer problems
) left dh behind since he's there all week for buisness and now I'm home attempting to convince the 2 boys that it's not 8pm it's really after 10 and they should go to bed!! Oh and trying to convince the 12yo that he doesn't need to cry - dad will be home in 4 sleeps 
sigh - could be a long week!!
Thanks to everyone that made suggestions on what to see/do! Was a great weekend trip and we'll definatly be going back again!
