Heya Guys,

Dont know if you remember me been about a year now!

For those of you who dont know we went to DLP last year for our hunnymoon and were now heading back this year for our wedding ann. (25-27th Nov) :cheer2:

Couple of changes! Theo 7 months & Jen's pregnant again!

After a nightmare of booking and getting leave we have managed disneyland hotel for 2n/3d. Big secret as Jen thinks were staying at Newport Bay!!!

Im going to be driving this year with much needed sat nav on board! Ferry booked to drive through the night and should arrive about 8am i know check in is later but hopefully we can leave bags and head off to the park.

Ive got the green card and euro breakdown cover.

Any of you got any tips about driving or Disneyland hotel?

Rich

btw its good to be back!

Hello Rich - yes, I remember you :goodvibes Congratulations on the arrival of Theo, and baby-to-be!! :cheer2:

I can't help with tips for driving or the Disneyland Hotel, as I haven't done either!! But I wanted to wish you a happy anniversary and a great trip to DLP. :wizard: And what a fabulous surprise for Jen :woohoo:

The main tip about driving is to make sure you know where you are going around the CDG airport, we found the road layout here very confusing. Hopefully if you have a sat nav this will help you stay on the right road.

With regards to the DLH, it is great and the detail in the rooms is fantastic. It is so convenient to pop back to and this will be very useful for you and your family.

Have great trip.

We have driven several times and as already stated the only real 'proble' place may be near the airport. There are so many lanes and exits however there are signposts to DLP from there and if you have Sat nav it should help- just be prepared for extra concentration round that point.
The other thing worth remembering is to have some change handy for the tolls on route.

You will find it really useful having a car with you- no worrying about backage allowance or fitting things into suitcases etc - you can just throw everything in. and loads of room to bring back extra souvenirs

i have driven and got the train..driving is much nicer!

we are off a week onday (26th) for 5 days/4 ngihts...cant wait...

As said before, the airport part is a bit of a pain if the road is really busy, if not dead simple drive to DLRP.

I am also taking my mate TOM TOM who is a great map reader ;-)

We have only driven to DLP and have found it a pleasant way to get there. The kids have the DVD player to watch, you can load the car up with cheap beer and on the way back you can drive into Belguim to get some cheap tobacco.

This will be the first time I will drive there with a sat nav but I managed the CDG airport without to much stress.

Immedediately after the airport the autoroute splits and you need to be in the right hand lane for Marne la Vallee; then it splits again and the 2 right hand lanes are the A104 south. There are signs before and after for "Les Parcs Disneyland"

4pm everyday disneyland lobby - for fun dancing and a few characters. :goodvibes :cheer2:

Congratulations and happy anniversary!!!! I cant help with the driving issues but just wanted to send my best wishes. We are there for our wedding anniversary too from 28th Nov-1st Dec.

:cheer2:

Haven't plucked up the courage to drive there yet, so no help to you there, but welcome back and congratulations. What a lovely surprise for your DW, booking the Disneyland Hotel, a good choice though with your wife's condition and the little one. :thumbsup2
