Well we got a PUPPY!!!!

ok so he's an older puppy he's 10 months old. Hes a black lab and????

We found him through a rescue group here in town. The poor baby had been abused his back leg was broken somehow and never set right afterwards but it doesnt seem to bother him.

We went and met him last night and just fell in love with him!
He's such a love! All he wants to do is please you

Right now he's following me all over the house just wanting to be near somone. his Foster mom said she thought he was making up for lost time.

Anyway, Thanks to all who helped. We couldnt find a Golden retriever to rescue so we opted for the lab instead he needed us as much as we need him

his name is Teeko. His foster mom named him.

Poor thing Kate is following him follow me around she just wants to love all over him. Hes so good with her!

Congratulations on the new baby. I am glad you were able to rescue one. I am just sorry that you couldn't find a golden. We have a shepherd/lab mix and she is such a love. We have had her for almost 10 years.

Oh Binny, what a lucky dog to get a great family. He sounds soo sweet. I adopted my shep/lab mix at 7 months old and she too was abused. At least she was house broken. She's 8 now and a wonderful dog. Have fun with your new family member.

Just a side comment. To round off getting a great dog, don't forget to look into obedience training. It really helps round out a dog. I went to the humane society in my area for training. Never regretted it.
