Well, we did it!!

I spoke with our guide, Randy, earlier this evening and put down a deposit on our credit card for 165 SSR points. I'm SO excited. He'll be calling me tomorrow with our DVC Member number so I can book our November trip. What are the chances of me getting a studio at VWL or BCV for the week prior to Thanksgiving (11/13-11/18)? Fat chance, right?? Ahhhh well... I'm just SO excited to be joining DVC, I'll stay ANYWHERE I can.

We too joined and sent off papers today but rec'vd membership#
a couple of weeks go and we already booked for the same
exact dates at SSR 1 bedroom for DS 3rd birthday. Guide and my own
exper. it is a very quiet week (before thanksgiving) who knows maybe we
will run into each other ...

Yea!!! I was able to book a studio at VWL today for the week before Thanksgiving!!! I can't wait to hear them say "Welcome Home" when we arrive!!

We just joined last month, and have to wait until Feb for our first trip.

What use year did they give you? We took December..

We really wanted October, but it wasn't being offered so we took September. We tend to visit in Oct/Nov/Dec, so we wanted to make sure we covered all of our options. December was our only other choice.
