Well THIS is a new one for me!?!?

That's weird! Almost the opposite of what has happened to me. I'll get a pin and call on it within minutes of it hitting my email and find out that it's not attached to my profile yet. They verify my name, address, email and all that matches but they don't have the PIN noted, yet I have the email. they wouldn't do anything for me but when I called back 48 hours later (couldn't call the next day because life got in the way!) it was there just fine and I could get rates and availability.

You'd think it would be simpler just to release these offers as public codes.

I called yesterday to add the Disney Visa Kids Eat and Play Free code to my reservation and was told to call back on Friday that there would be a better deal.

So my Mom gets a pin (of course she does, she'll never go) so I'm calling in to find out what the rates would be & just ask if they'll check if there's anything for me or my fam. The CM says YES-OH HAPPY DAY! All excited-what is it? She says it's not valid until the end of the week & she can give me the code but not what it is Have you ever heard of such? My dh says oh we're gonna get FD? She's of course all "I don't know" but I'm on the other side of the phone going so is it a promo or a pin? She says a pin but I have never heard of a pin that's not valid yet? She said she's had a few others that have come up with the same thing recently so any insight anyone??? Waiting on FD was bad enough, now I'm going to truly LOSE my mind by Thursday Of course there's also the disappointment that I'm finally getting a pin for what I would ALREADY get as a DVisa holder?

YES!!!!!!!!!! I jsut came over here to see if anyone else heard this. Yesterdya I called WDW to add airfare and make a payment. The CM was GREAT, very friendly, very Disney!!! WE talked a bit about the 'rumors' I ahve heard, including FD (he offered nothing on that) He asked if there was anything else he could do for me and I asked if I had a PIN attatched to my name. It took him awhile, but he came back and said "Not yet. He said it was a % off a room, but it was not available yet and he couldn't see what % it was. He did tell me FD would be a better value, and if I was going during FD I really should make my ADRs now....Silly man! My ADRs were made a month ago!!! HEHE! But he did say if for some reason I didn't get FD, to call back and they could apply the PIN.

I have the mystery pin also. I am not a DV holder, and here is the other kicker, they told me it expires on 8/30, she said it is most likely a percentage off the room. Ok, but, I have a pin sitting in my email account right now for the very same thing....that expires the exact same time.

Weird!
