Well THIS is a new one for me!?!?

So my Mom gets a pin (of course she does, she'll never go) so I'm calling in to find out what the rates would be & just ask if they'll check if there's anything for me or my fam. The CM says YES-OH HAPPY DAY! All excited-what is it? She says it's not valid until the end of the week & she can give me the code but not what it is Have you ever heard of such? My dh says oh we're gonna get FD? She's of course all "I don't know" but I'm on the other side of the phone going so is it a promo or a pin? She says a pin but I have never heard of a pin that's not valid yet? She said she's had a few others that have come up with the same thing recently so any insight anyone??? Waiting on FD was bad enough, now I'm going to truly LOSE my mind by Thursday Of course there's also the disappointment that I'm finally getting a pin for what I would ALREADY get as a DVisa holder?

Was it a 15 digit pin or a 3 letter code?

Call back and give a new CM your pin number. Ask her/him if its only for QS or can it be used for regular dining?

Maybe they'll say "QS" .....or say "Dining? This is a room discount" or something that will give you a clue!

Yes, I had two room discounts attached to my name. In fact I gave the CM the one I wanted to use and they still used the other one. Then I redid the math and called back! It was a difference in 5% off a room which turned out to be a total of $70 dollars so the next CM said oh your right! Pays to do math!

The CM told my dh that is was an actual pin (cause I'm in the background asking "is this a promo code or a pin?!") but that when someone called in with a pin their system converted it to a 3 digit code which is what she gave us (in case it went to our spam & we didn't see it she said)

Thats what I thought. I am a cardholder & I feel really bad for saying this but I am disappointed that I think my supposed special pin code is the new promo I'm happy that there will be a new promo but I wanted to have something of my very own

OP I just got told the same in regards to a new PIN. I have two attached to my account. The white rabbit PIN and then a "new one" that is not valid until later this week.....

For the other poster-at this point I'm just wondering if this truly is a pin or a promo code. There have been so many rumors regarding FD this year, I'm wondering if this is how they are scaling back or if this is just a slow roll-out or totally unrelated to FD

I am a DV card holder too, so I suspected it was free dining. I specifically asked if it was a promo for the public or if it was attached to just my name. She said it was attached to just my name. BUT now I am having the same suspicion that it is a promo for the DV card.
We will be staying in the cabins...so FD will do nothing for us! I was hoping for a room discount...oh well...if it is free dining...as least it will make a WHOLE LOT of people happy around here!!!
She said to call back on Friday.

I believe you can get FD in the cabins, just not the campsites.

Thank you! I will stay on the lookout for a room discount...but in the meantime I will try to apply the FD (if and when it becomes available...and if there is availability...as knox always says lol). I just figured the room discount would be more beneficial as we have 2 under three and getting everyone to a restaurant then eating and getting home again without a meltdown may be a miracle
Part of the appeal of the cabins is having a kitchen so we don't have to go to a restaurant all the time. Although if no room discount comes out...having that free dining as a bonus to use but not necessarily all the time may be fun!
