either a boy or a girl lol

we had a sexing scan in florida at 15 weeks and 5 days pregnant, guy looked for dangly bits lol and said yes its a boy

fast forward to today and our free sexing scan with the cmpany we used for Morgan, 20 mintues later told 90% a girl as he can see three line markers, and to come back in 2 weeks to be 100%.

Ive ben checking the net and apparentlyall babys have swelling between the legs at cetain stages but markers will say each way

so now Im totaly confused and to top it all I believed the first guy andboug (sorry bad spelling) and bought all new baby boys clothes in florida

any body have experiance of this or an thoughts

* its a boy for sure says the new scanning guy lol, I have embarrasing pictures of equipment for later years lol, We are both very happy as that is what we were told originally!! and we bought all new boys clothes lol*

Oh no, how confusing for you.

When the twins were bumps, we kept getting a a definate one was a girl and then with the other, they kept changing their minds, until in the end we went and had a private scan and it confirmed the other was a boy.

I really don't know what I'd think? but I think the later scan would be more accurate, sorry can't help much.

DH's cousin had 5 or 6 scans when she was pregnant due to some health issue, each time she was told that the baby was a girl. So they decorated the nursey in shades of pink, bought all types of clothes for a baby girl. Anyhow when the baby was delivered they discovered that their precious baby girl was actually a boy!!!

The 2nd sounds like it would be more accurate to me, 15 weeks sounds a bit early to tell to me though it was 7 years ago I was pregnant.

I dressed my DD in boys clothes when she was a new born, I was given a big bag from my cousin who had a boy(I didn't know what I was having). I don't see whats wrong with dressing a girl in blue so I would keep the clothes anyway.

we were told at our 20 week scan what we were having it was pretty ovbious aswell seeing as he had he bits on show :lmao:
i would go with your next scan for the sex as i think they are more accurate

Good luck on finding out !

Exactly the same thing happened to me I had a scan almost every month from 10 weeks, I had an assisted pregnancy and a few minor problems. on one of these scans I was told although did notask, that I was having a girl! at first we were a bit upset as we had not asked, but lived with it, went to Florida about 3 weeks later and bought loads of clothes etc = and then fast forward a few months and low and behold I had a boy!!!

I was told with my 3rd ds that he was 100% a girl - my gut instinct was nagging at me that they were wrong so I decided to buy neutral !!
When we ent for scan on my 4th pregnancy the sonographer said she cud not tell with any certainty so was going to not pass comment - she said a lot of the time it was guess work unless you have a late scan all my scans were at 20 weeks !!

i didn't want to know for either of mine, its never 100% till the babies born imo ;)

we only found out with my 4th the others were all suprises, we rearly wanted a girl for our 2 of each, and they told us girl...wrong when he was born she was a he..... prob why we went on to want another and have Izzy

We were told straight away at 12 weeks with Harley, he was pure boy! ;) We did ask them to tell us but they said that they wouldn't be able to as it was too early, but then when they looked she was shocked that she could tell. I also had 4d scans with both of mine so they double checked with that too. I don't think I bought that much stuff that was gender specific anyway, I left that for the pressies that people were buying us! :)

When are you due another scan to check again?

Good luck getting to the bottom of it:thumbsup2

I know couples that have been told both ways and the opposite sex baby has been born, I don't think it's 100%.

Same here. Loved the surprise both times.
With my second DD I hated knowing which day she was going to be born (I had to have a planned c-section) and we told as few people as possible, it just wouldn't have been the same for me if I'd have known what I was having as well.
TBH, I didn't in both cases feel the need to have a particular colour nursery (both my girls slept in our room for around 8 months anyway, which was plenty of time for Richard to decorate:lmao:) or clothes as, these days with the internet you can have colour appropriate items on your doorstep within 24hrs anyway.
