Well That Certainly Sucks

I love, love, love Cypress Pointe Grand Villas. I also love, love, love to save money by using skyauction. We have only been lucky enough to have CPGV available for our dates ONCE, so this year, rather than waiting for CPGV on skyauction and being disappointed again I went ahead and booked a (beautiful) 3bdrm condo at WH. Of course, because I have already booked our condo and given a $250. non-refundable deposit, CPGV is now available on a Ready Set Go auction for our dates! I have never seen it come up in May for Dec dates!

Oh well, at least we will have more space, and free internet. I always jump the gun and book things that I think will be perfect, and then find something more perfect when it it too late! I booked airfare last month, but that was because it is a price I am happy with and I just don't expect seat sales this fall with oil prices rising the way they are. Usually I don't book accomodations til May or June, but I wanted to get things settled and get the airfare. That'll learn me!

Awww I wouldn't worry about it too much. It was probably meant to be this way. Either way you are still heading to the World, so how can it be bad? Have fun.

I agree. Also sometimes it's nice to try something different so it's not the same old thing. Don't stress out. Even a "bad" day in Orlando is still better than a good day at work.

Ya never know you might like Windsor Hills better. We've stayed there 3 times and love it. You can get to Disney very quickly and lots of restaurants within 2 or 3 min.

Don't get me wrong, I am really happy with the condo we chose. It looks beautiful, and a 3bdrm at $762. total for 9 nights, well, the price really can't be beat. We just really loved CPGV, but maybe that was because it was our first trip. The other condos we rented on the subsequent trips were fine, but didn't have the WOW factor of CPGV.

I guess I am just disappointed because I love saving money with skyauction, and we could have stayed at CPGV for a couple of hundred dollars less than WH. Oh well. I will just look forward to being wowed by Windsor Hills instead (and enjoy my kids not having to share a room this trip!).
