I bought Jolly Rancher sugar free gelatin. It was yummy. No carbs, right?

<b><i>Wrong</i></b>! I don't know why but I decided to check the label. I had assumed it was like Jello sugar free gelatin. Boy, I won't make that mistake again :rolleyes:

I had purchased the already prepared cups of gelatin and the flavor was fantastic but not worth 3 grams of carbs for that tiny little container. I will be sticking with Jello brand now.

Darn it :(
 
I hate it when that happens! I've done that with WW before, thought I knew how many points something was and then realize that it was more "expensive" than I thought. Of, course it you find out after you have already eaten it!

I guess we can chalk it up to experience, Kath, and say we will be wiser next time!! :D
 
Well, at least it was only 3 carbs & not 33! I know, even 3 is too many! Coulda been a lot worse though. :eek:

What do you think is in it that gives it the carbs???
 

I hate when that happens. I had downed a huge handful of imitation crab before I read the label. FULL of sugar. :(
 
I don't know, BethR. I'm going to have to go to the store and read the ingredients.

It could be corn syrup or something. I just know that I bought some, we ate it and I asked Wilgus to pick up more. He is the one who discovered it had 3 carbs and wouldn't buy it.

OR, they may have used fruit juice to flavor it which would add carbs too. The flavor was really good so that may be what they did.
 
This just happend to me this afternoon. I had a Chicken BLT Salad at Wendy's and ordered Ranch Dressing with it. I always thought that they had Hidden Valley Ranch.
So I am eating my salad and glanced down at the dressing packet. It was NOT Hidden Valley and it was FIVE carbs per serving!!! :eek: :eek: I could not believe it! :eek: There is only ONE carb per ser serving of Hidden Valley.

Can't say I wasn't warned, can I? :(

Well, as DD said, I can just go lighter on my carbs for the rest of the day...

Must have been sugar in that dressing :(
