Hey Gang! I don't know if this is the best place to share this but I had to share it with someone (and who better than my WISH teammates).

Today, at work, I had one of my vendors give me a call. She is also a major Disney fanatic who comes onto the disboards. I told her about the WISH threads and also about how I was going to be going down to do the Half in January. Well, she called me up today to tell me that there was a lot of people (that have never met me) that was cheering me on from Massachusetts. (Did I mention that I told her about this about 5 months ago when I signed up and she still remembered?)

Now, I am going down solo but with all of you there aiding me along and now this, how can I not finish my first Half?

Anyway, I just felt like sharing that.

Exactly! Those at home and those there and everyone lining the course from our group to the water stations to complete strangers. Embrace those cheers, smiles and hollers! They'll keep you going in the right direction

I've done the work. Now my plan is to go and enjoy every minute of the experience. 2 years ago I would have never thought doing a marathon was within my realm of possibilities. Because of you, my WISH buddies, I have accomplished things I never dreamed I could. Thank-you so very much.....I look so forward to seeing all my old friends and meeting new ones. This time next week we will all be together. We will be having our own New Years Celebration, just a week late. Thank you all for this past year. Now, I just hope I don't make a fool of myself at the races.

I have changed my plan. My new plan is to have Bryan piggyback me through the half and then run the full without seeing a yellow flag.
