Well no scrap stuff for me this month...

I'm going to WDW next weekend!

(OK pattyt... stop laughing at me!)

DH and DS3 are heading to the world next week for 6 nights, and DD5 and I were planning on staying home (I didn't want to take the time off - saving it for our XMas trip, and I didn't want DD missing any school). Sunday on the way home from our weekend trip with pattyt and family, DH remarked that it was going to be strange going without another adult and that he wished DD and I were going. In a hoity-toity voice I said "well, dahhhhling, Jackie and I will just jet-set down for the weekend!" I really was kidding. But then we started thinking... and laughing... and decided that if I could get a really good deal on a flight DD and I would go down for the weekend.

Well... let's just say I LOVE Southwest because we're going now! I haven't told DD yet - I don't want her teasing her brother because they're driving down and we're flying. We leave after she gets out of school on Friday and come home Sunday night!

So that's my scrapping budget for the next month or so... good thing I've got a good stash going cuz I'm not buying anything for a while!

DH and DS check in next Wednesday (the 21st) and DD and I will get there on Friday night and stay till Sunday night. They've had this trip planned for several months... but it's a real last minute trip for DD and I! Boy... do I love having APs! (Though they really don't SAVE you any money, do they? LOL!)

Bummer, we get there five days later! Well, I hope you have a great time!!! I love having AP's. But for us living in Florida, it does save us money. Instead of traveling anywhere, we always go to WDW, so we never worry about airfare!

DH talks about moving down South because of the winters up here, and I totally agree with him. But I know in the back of our minds we're thinking (hee hee... that much closer to WDW!!)

Oooooo! Have a GREAT time!!

DH and I are moving to Florida in 12 years!! We have to wait untill he's 55 so he'll get his full pension!! All the girls except the "baby" will be out of college by then!!

Paul will be driving one of the busses in WDW and I will be working in one of the air conditioned stores . . . or maybe in the Crystal Palace as Eeyore!!

disneyfreakjackie... that sounds like a GREAT plan! We talk about it alot, but I'm not sure if it'll ever happen (at least not till the kids are grown! once they're gone, I'm off to the south!)

DH has his own business (contracting/home improvements) and it always seems like whenever we start talking seriously about moving he gets another big job to do and doesn't want to leave, lol.

oh don't even tel J. til the morning - when you are getting on the airplane - I would love to do that to my kids one day - but we all know Mark can't keep a secret to save his life!
I too am on NO shopping so I am not laughing-
Its been a week now (don't laugh - baby step, baby steps)
But now that I see progress on the house it will be much easier!
(ps slight hi-jack here - but Daren and Linda had their baby saturday - a month early he was 6lb 11oz, 20 something - Hunter is his name)
