Well my congressman just earned my vote...

I wrote a letter to him when the FMA was being debated. Yesterday in the mail, I received a response. Not only did he vote against it, he had the decency to write me a letter thanking me for my letter and my partcipation in a very important matter. I'm sure one of his aides wrote it, or it was generic but whatever..it showed he cares.

I wrote a similar letter about the FMA to one of my senators (the Fascist Mike DeWine). His response was a form letter ... but worse than that, it was the WRONG form letter. It was written for a like-minded person who opposed the FMA. He thanked me for supporting his position. If I had the money, I'd take out a TV ad of my own to describe his concern for his constituents! A form letter - and the wrong one at that! What a moron. He has a 20% lead in the polls thusfar against his opponent here in the backward state of Ohio.
