I am ENGAGED..it happened last night and DF put a lot of thought into the whole night, and I didn't suspect a thing....so now I might get my dream to be a Disney Bride.... I am on cloud 9 right now and I just can't quit looking at my ring and I can't quit smiling.. I am so happy that I get to marry the man of my dreams....

So where do I start when it comes to planning and WDW wedding?

Congratulations!

As for where to start. Well you're here so you definitely know where to go for good advice. I'd recommend checking out the Disneyweddings website, which you've probably already done. I'd also recommend buying Carrie's Pass Porter e-book. It's like $7 and totally worth it! And you could even call Disney Weddings. I'm sure you're not dead set on a date, but it's never too early and ask for some information!

congraulations!!!!!!!
i love the first engaged feeling :lovestruc:love: i do anything to go back to the night i got engaged!!

happy wedding planning

Congratulations!! You definitely are in the right place, these boards are so helpful. I agree with others who have suggested the disney weddings website - lots of good info there too. Be sure to keep us all up to date with your plans!

Congrats and I think the first thing to do is set a date...if it's a yr from now I would call Disney and reserve your date/venues if you know the when and where...if you are between locations, then you can call DFTW and set up a "Site Visit" to check out different venues you are interested in and get a general idea about your day. Definitely, check out www.disneyweddings.com, like the prior Diser advised and I would also start gathering all your ideas, themes, colors, etc.

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me...

Congratulations to all of you who are recently engaged. The feelings when you are going to wear a ring are not easy to explain. Its just a feeling of a responsibility that you have to take care of not yourself but your partner of life also.

Congratulations. So pleased for you. I'm sure everyone here will give you advice and ideas for your wedding.:goodvibes
