We now have had the heat on a full week :cold: and tomorrow we are getting 30 mph winds. I so do not want winter.

Oh to be in Florida. :goodvibes

Still working on my dh to move there.

It's started to get really chilly here in the evenings.

Gosh, our heat has been on a day here and there but our window's are still open and
we're still eating dinner on the porch!

No heat on here yet in S. Jersey! Today is going to be a high of 75.. :confused3 What happen to Fall? Warmer than normal for this time of year! I am sure we will be putting it on soon.

It's back in the 80's here. It's supposed to be mid-80's all next week. Time to turn on the air conditioner again. :sad2:

I had a reality check last night when I went to one of those 'Home Parties' at my cousins dressed in khaki capri's and a summer sweater....
time to load up the summer clothes and pull the winter stuff out cuz I sure looked silly amongst all those well dressed - in fall/sinter clothes people!

I hear ya! Right now we're experiencing a monsoon, or so it seems. The rain is hitting the window like a brick and I hear the winds are going to get nasty here too.

I refuse to put the heat on here. All we have had is rain for the last 9 or 10 days and to have it another couple. It has been cold but we have survived.

I'm also in PA and no heat here yet. I haven't even turned it on. We are an hour north of Philly. Our home is only 3 years old and well insulated. House was 72 degrees last night. We usually don't turn heat on until mid to end of November. We'll see how the weather holds out. 75 here today - no heat for us.

Luckily the rains have stopped here.

We had the heat on last week but the past couple days it has been around 70 and is suppose to continue to be until at least mid-week. You should be seeing some of that soon I would think. If it stays like this until Halloween that would be great, then it can snow all it wants after November 5th (that is the State Cross Country meet in MN and I don't want to watch it in the snow).

I turned ours on once this past week. It just felt cold and damp inside the house and I figured with all the rain we've had, it might do it good to dry things out some. Also I wanted to make sure it was in good running order before we really need to use it!! :rolleyes1
