Well it is official..........

.........I will not be able to attend the Epcot event. Up until just a few weeks ago I was planning to attend, have sent in my RSP and everything. Instead I will be staying home to support my dh (Walt's) family, his mother has been diagonosed with breast cancer. They have told us sometime in the next few weeks they will have all the doctors lined up with a surgery date for the double masectomy. This has not been easy for the family, since 95% of the relatives (sisters) all live in Germany, there is only Walt's sister and us here to be the ones to help out and that shoulder to lean on.
I will miss seeing all of you!

So sorry to hear the news, my thoughts as well as the thoughts of so many on the boards will be with you. As a 7 year cancer survivor I can tell you that this disease can be beaten. I will say some extra prayers for you and your family.
