Well imagine my surprise!June 2009 PTRw/pics 7/7 pg. 76 NEW TR started link on pg. 76

Just found your PTR and am getting all caught up! I didn't read your last TR but looks like you had a Dream filled trip! What a day at MK! Congrats on buying DVC.

Yeah! I am so glad you found us again! Yes, last years trip was AMAZING! I hope you and your DH are doing well! Thanks for the congrats on DVC too we are beyond excited!!:goodvibes

Aww, that must have broke your heart seeing Eric so sad :sad1:

I think promising something special in the SW gift shop was definitely the best thing to do:goodvibes

Thanks Kelly! That is the way I looked at it too!:thumbsup2

Oh, no. Poor little guy--I feel so badly for him. I'd absolutely have resorted to spoiling him a bit to compensate, too. ;) Maybe I'll see if Caitlin can snag another Storm Trooper on our trip and I can box him up and send him to Eric.

Thanks Amy! Yes, tell cait to not be afraid of the stromtroopers this year so she can tell them about her special little friend Eric!!;)

As you can see we will be trying MANY new restaurants on this trip! One of the plusses of doing Deluxe Dining! We will still have 3 more days left after the 2nd but our Deluxe dining credits end on the 2nd. We haven't decided if we are going to pay OOP for those days or do regular dining. What do you think?

Usually when we go we buy park hopper passes but this year because we are doing the annual pass, I don't feel the need to hop as much to get our monies worth (does that make sense?) So we will be doing a few days of going to a park in the am collecting fastpasses having lunch in the park and then heading back to the resort to relax/swim and then head back to the same park at night to use those fastpasses!:goodvibes

Wow! That's quite a list Diane! You're going to have so much fun trying out all of those great restaurants (I expect lots of food porn :rolleyes1 ).

That is great you are trying so many restaurants.

We really love Liberty Tree Tavern, such good comfort food.

50s Prime Time is always a hoot..Make sure you eat your vegetables

We do have quite a few similar ones, but all I am going to say for now is "good choices!" :rotfl:

I am doing ADRs next weekend for my update!

O.K., Diane, TOO FUnNY!!! Did you notice our first three days there we are at the same meals. We'll see you at LeCellier, Tusker House breakfast and then again at Kona Cafe, too funny!!!!:rotfl: We'll have to compare times as it gets closer. Also, Cali grill on the 26th, too funny!
Everything looks great. So you guys are doing deluxe the whole trip? If our tax refund is huge then we'll switch to that too but we'll have to wait and see.

Thanks Carissa! Yes LOTS of food porn, I promise:thumbsup2

Looks great. It took a lot of planning and thinking to get all of those ADR's coordinated.

Thanks! Yes, they could build a new tree with all of my scrap paper!:thumbsup2

Hey, you'll be at the Sci Fi on my birthday! :thumbsup2 Have a drink with a glowing Tinkerbell for me, ok? ;) The boys will love this place.

Great job coming up with all those ADR's, Diane! I'm very impressed.

I will definitely have a drink for you Amy!:thumbsup2 I really think the boys will like it too!:goodvibes

Diane - do you know if the shakes are included as a beverage on the dining plan? I read somewhere that the bottomless shakes at WCC are included so I was wondering if they were at Sci Fi. I'm having a hard time finding the answer to that.

Okay Diane.... how did you go about figuring out your park days without the hours posted. TGM has not colored the days yet either right?

BTW.... we will be there for the beginning of you trip-so I am bit behind on the planning so I am trying to figure which park/ADRs too!

I posted on your trippie!:thumbsup2

Yay! Laura, I didn't know you were going back this summer! According to your ticker, you will be there the day before us:thumbsup2 Where are you staying?

As far as TGM I just based it off last years advice but made sure the days were the same like last year was sat. 6/21 but this year it is 6/20. I also subscribe to the unofficial guide site and there info was the same for the most part. I can't imagine the changes would be huge so that is what I am going with....we had WAY too many ADR'S to plan to wait for his 2009 info! I hope you are all doing well!:goodvibes

I have spent the day today reading up on Disney and what is like onthe 4th of July.:scared1: The other thing we have been contemplating is whether or not to drive or fly to Disney for our trip. Well....I have this huge list of pros for driving and then just a few cons....low and behold I turn on the television and all the news stations have on the story about the US Air flight that crash landed in the Hudson River between NYC and NJ:scared1: That pilot did an AMAZING JOB! Needless to say I put the pro/con list away to revisit another day!:rolleyes1

We have decided to go ahead and add the regular dining plan on to our 3 night stay at the Boardwalk Villas and those ADR'S look like this

7/3
lunch The Plaza
dinner Crystal Palace

7/4
dinner Coral Reef

7/5
this day will be counter service

What do you think?

We have decided to start our countdown calendar at 89 days, so after I call to make our dining ressies it will start!:thumbsup2

Yes - thank goodness everyone on that flight was okay!

How exciting starting the countdown calendar! I'm not sure how far ahead we'll start ours - guess I should get to thinking about it. :rolleyes1

Your plans sound good! I still have to nail down where we want to eat. I keep telling DH that we need to look at menues and decide where we want to eat. Good for you doing that already.

I am so glad that everyone survied that plane crash. What an amazing job that pilot did.

Hey!! Can't believe I haven't commented for so long! Your ADR list looks fantastic!! There are definately some places I want to hear about when you're back!!
We were at MK for the 4th July this year, and I can honestly say having spent loads of time reading up about how crowded it gets and what not it was surprisingly good fun and didnt get as crowded as we first thought, I dont think they had to close the park all day and we got on all the rides we wanted to go on, especially the big ones like SpaceM, SplashM and TM. Twice!! So don't worry too much, they're always over hyped!!! :thumbsup2

Yes, pretty soon I will be making my way to Home Depot to gather certain Mickey paint chips:rolleyes:

Thanks so much! It was really a challenge with all of those credits...but I really LOVED doing it!:goodvibes

Over the weekend, we have been coming up with a list of things that we definitely want to experience at Disney this trip (I will post those later) BUT we have a list of things that we are on the fence about and were hoping for some advice/guidance from our loyal readers....

1.Block Party Bash at DHS? Is this parade worth staying in the HOT June heat to see?

2.Character spot in Epcot...with all the character meals we have planned, is this necessary?

3. Country Bear Jamboree...the boys have never seen this, Bryan and I have but it has been years? Will the boys like it?

The boys have been begging us for our last 3 trips to do the sea raycers/water mice. Can Bryan and both boys go together? Are they fun? The boys love fishing from a boat but are they even tall enough to see out and really experience it?

Thanks to all of you for your help!

Last but not least, I am sooooo excited, Bryan finally ordered a new computer and it should be here within the week!!:cool1:
