well, i went to the stupid dentists

I hate dentists. hate them, hate them hate them

when i pull up I start getting sweaty palms, then my stomach starts flipping. I hate them.

Of course, looking at my dental health, you can tell i hate them

I have a wisdom tooth that came in fine, well, its done being in my mouth. It's literally hanging there. However, i cant get over the stupid pain to pull it out. I can only pull so far before no matter how hard I tell myself to pull, the pain stops me.

Course, the dentist is on vacation. Hygenist does xrays- yup its infected- really, I already knew that... With no dentist- no script for antibiotic... lovely. call my regular doc 1/2 hour away. Explain that I have an apointment- for the 16th, first available (I think it'll fall out first lol) but need an antibiotic...nope not without an appointment- okay, I cant sell penicillion...whose gonna buy it...not a very popular drug of choice for hard core drug users.

They cant get me in until Monday- okay, scratch that. Go to urgent care. The PAC cant believe the tooth is even still in my mouth, I told him it was loose. Guess for some reason he didnt believe me.

He gave me a script for the antibiotic, and for some T3's incase it becomes painful....becomes? HUH...been painful for couple weeks.

Then the funny doc says- "take 3-4 of the T3's, and then you might be able to pull it out"...oh doc your so funny!

So the 9th I see the hygenist for the cleaning- I'm hoping the doc will rip it out then when he comes to verify what the hygenist says...if not, and they dont have a cancellation it'll be out on the 16th...and then I'll make the appointment for the other 3 stupid molars that need to come out. That by the way- are fine just like they are according to me!

I hate them too. I had a tooth break and I let it go for 3 years before it become to painful for me to function. I went to the dentist and found that the tooth and my jaw were infected and that the infection was spreading to different areas of my body. I thought I had a really bad back, nope, infection in some of the muscles, I thought I had terrible eczema, nope infection. It took 6 months and a huge amount of meds. but I finally got over it. It's incredible what effect your teeth have on your overall health. Good luck, feel better.

I can definitely empathize with you when it comes to going to the dentist. Sorry that the tooth is causing you such pain.

OMG, that's so scary! I just posted something similar about my DH in a thread, DH vent, where he had a broken tooth get infected, but it hasn't gotten to that point yet of affecting his body. I'm going to have to tell him about this.
