The procedure wasn't bad at all. I told them I wanted to know as little as possible, and I did know as little as possible. Barely remember it at all, which is how I want.

Main conclusion is I just need to add some more fiber to my diet. No problems that some extra fiber won't take care of.

Thanks for the support, everyone!!

Tammi I'm so glad thats all you need, just go stock up on Fiber cereal!

Now go get some rest I'm sure you need it. {{HUGS}}

I'm glad you got good results! :)

Drinking that stuff really IS the worst part of a colonoscopy :rolleyes:

Rajah, glad to hear all is well.

Do you know about psyllium husk? My Uncle had a colonoscopy done and they found some polyps (nothing serious), so his doctor recommended he increase his fiber. My Uncle has high cholesterol too. He started eating oatmeal daily, and that helped a little, but he said when he started taking psyllium husk, it helped a LOT. They sell it in most health stores and one of our local stores also sells a product called "Colon Cleanse" (I know, not the greatest name!) which is psyllium husk. All you do is put some in water or juice and drink it right away, and it acts kind of like a brush, cleaning everything on it's way down.
