Well... I started packing today... trips over 2 weeks away, but I started PACKING!

Of course, I only packed our carry-on bags and most of what our family calls the "bathroom bag" (shampoo, makeup, hairbrush, you get the gist).

I am getting so excited now, can hardly wait until next weekend, phase 2 of my packing. There are only 3 phases, since I only have time on the weekends.

Woohoo... only 19 more days!

Aw jeez moop, I'm not going until next July and I already packed the great 4th July clearance hats and shirts from Disney Store in our suitcases...and I'm waiting till Eckerd lowers the price on their clearance water misters...they'll go in the suitaces too!
Everything I see now on clearance I;m thinking hmmmmm, maybe I should buy this for Disney next year, LOL!!!


BTW, where are u at in NEPA??

We are going in June and I have things in our suitcases.... a lot of items we only use on WDW vacations, but I am always ready to go!!

I bet I'm within an hours drive if you live in Back Mountain.... you won't know where my "small town" is but our biggest city is Tunkhannock... about 20 minutes away. Have 'bout you?

OK - where do you live? I am thinking it's real close to where I go to school (in Scranton) Or is the cross-valley between Wilkes Barre & Dallas?? Don't worry I'm not going to show up at your door - the curiosity is killin' me!

I do the phase packing system also, usually I'm packed about a week before I have to leave. My friends pack the night before. I had my bathroom bag already packed from my last away trip in May, just had to add a few things to it. I couldn't pack my shorts until this past Wednesday as I was still wearing them at home!!!

I remembered everything on my packing list without having to refer to it constantly!! YEA!

Haha, I have a "disney drawer" full of all the mouselaneous items. Then the weekend before I spend the day ironing all of our clothes and packing them. Then I recheck my packing list. But yes, I too prepack often. It's just part of the fun of a vacation for me.

I was just thinking about packing. We leave on the 15th and my husband thinks I am nuts for wanting to pack this far in advance.

So far I have my Disney bag with all of the rain gear, misters, sunscreen and misc. items.Maybe I could start packing tonight and just hide it

Wow! "You know you're a redneck when..... You find out someone lives 30 miles from you, and you think of them as neighbors!" Ha ha... I have to laugh at myself. Anyway, we share the same mall - around here - that IS neighbors. Glad you meetcha!

and our suitcases, backpack, and kids toy chest for the car has been completely packed since May. the reason being is cause we were supposed to leave in June, but i changed plans for sept, and got the free dining. so why unpack and give me more work.

i have some very last minute things to pack like contact solution, and that kind of stuff left, but otherwise we could go right now. of course, i still have to have the car worked on, but that will only take a morning to do.

i'm ready to go now, but i still have to wait 21 more days!

We leave in less than 2 weeks and I've packed all of my clothes. I've actually had them packed since August 22nd!!!! But, I keep thinking of other clothes I want to take....and I keep putting more items in the suitcase. Soon there will be no room for anything else!!!

You guys are so funny....love the "mouselaneous items". I had to tell my DH why I was laughing out loud. You can never get too "Disney" on this board!!!

We are about 40 days out and I'm getting a good start on bags, backpacks, etc. DH got the new video camara out today so we could figure out how to use the still camara. Yipppeeee!
