Well I finally booked!!!

My family and I booked last night for 4 nights and fives days at the All-star movie resort. Our first night is July 20. The summer time was the only time we could get off of work. My family has never been to WDW before and are really looking forward to going.
We will be driving down from southren ontario. It will be about a 22 hour drive i think. Now i just have to figure out how to get there. Do any of you guys reccomend the I 75 book by Dave hunter. I have heard it is a great thing to have along the way.
If anyone else has any info I should know please let me know.

I love All Star Movies. Those huge icons make me feel like I am right in a Disney movie.

We have driven from Peterborough about 6 times. In good weather months we take the 95 route for a change of pace. In bad weather we stick with 75 for a more direct route and lots of exits with gas/motels.

We always drive straight through so we have never bought the Dave Hunter book but I hear it is quite good.

Your family is going to have a magical time

We are closest to Buffalo so we take I90/I79/US19/I77/I95. This way is beautiful and is the shortest depending on where you live. The mountains are awsome and there are 2 tunnels that the kids loved. The average driving time this route is 20hrs.

We left at 5am and stopped the 1st night a 6pm in Richburg SC. The next morning we left at 7am and arrived at 2:30pm at Disney.

Our family really enjoyed the drive down. This time the kids would really like to fly as we always road trip it. DH hates flying. This Sept I am hoping to get airfare no higher than $69.00 one way. If this happens it is the same price as driving and DH will have no choice but to fly.
