I went ahead and purchased our airline tix. The prices were lower last week, and so I waited and ended up spending $120.00 more. But at least now I can relax, I have been checking rates several times a day. When I read that gasoline prices were supposed to go up this weekend, I figured I had better buy now, because airfares will probably increase also!!! I am still kicking myself for not buying earlier, oh well, live and learn. Now I can concentrate on having fun. This is a trip for me and my mom, no kids or husbands!! And this is my mom's 1st trip. She has been to DLR, but I am looking forward to showing her WDW, especially the world showcase!!!

You probably did the right thing... I saw a post on Flyertalk indicating airlines were raising ticket prices this weekend due to fuel prices! YIKES!

I locked in my prices a little early too, but I am happy. No more checking constantly and worrying about it. Got the times I want and I don't have to worry about fuel costs and things like that. I have SWA going down and Airtran coming back. Grabbed the Airtran flight yesterday in a 2 day sale and am so glad I did cause today the fares were way up there again. I am now all set to go for December and don't have to worry about it anymore! I would rather pay a few extra dollars and have piece of mind.

I'm going through that right now. I missed JetBlue's and Continentals special of $59 each way. Meaning the seats were all sold out by the time I found out. However I have been checking both very regularly and Jetblue was $210.40 from Newark NJ to MCO last night and today it is $215.40.

Should I book or should I wait?????
