I have read in a lot of different threads here and on other boards how much people swear by their Crocs. So today I went and bought some for my upcoming trip. Man they are so light I couldn't believe it. I have been wearing them all day since I bought them. I figure I had better get used to them.

LOL I know I found crocs at our local dollar store for $5.00 a pair I was sooooooooooo excited. I bought a pair of every color. They are so comfortable it sick.... Its like your walking on a fluffly cloud. I wish all shoes were made like crocs

Are these real Crocs or fake ones. I have seen some at Wal Mart, are they ok?

No, they are real Crocs. I made sure of that. I even went to the much hated mall to get them.

No, don't get the ones at wal-mart. They will make your feet stinky because they are not made of the same material as the Crocs. They are totally worth the money you pay and there are many styles that you can buy.

So if they were $5 they weren't real crocs?
I have only seen them at a Kiosk Cart at the Mall, is that right?

I don't know about the 5 dollar ones that Mystic got but, the ones at walmart aren't. They will have the Croc symbol on it if they are Crocs.

I love Crocs as well! I wish I knew about a $5 deal (although I am doubtful) I paid $30! I have the endeavor (no holes) and the Disney beach. I swear by them for Disney trips and everyday. I must confess...I do wear them with socks on occasion.

I went to my daughters favorite skater shoe store and paid the $30 for them. I am thinking they are worth it. It beats wearing my heavy Etnies. And possibly even my Birkenstocks.

I can't wear tennis shoes without socks either so maybe it just bugs me and not others? I would love to get a pair but they stick to my feet when it's 110 degrees here!

You can try www.crocs.com or I know that sellthem at Sports Chalet. And they sell them at Sports Authority. I bought mine at Journey's a skate type shop. I think I may be the oldest customer they had alll day yesterday. They also sell them at Takkens too. Good luck on finding them.

Ours are on their way! I took advantage of the deal posted on the budget board last week and was able to get 2 pair for myself and a pair for each of my daughters for $13.99 each w/ free shipping. We will be first time croc wearers and I hope to wear them on our upcoming trip to DL!

I have a "fake" pair that I bought last year at Payless shoes and to be honest I think they are extremely comfortable. I bought my girls a pair as well.

I wanted the disney ones and searched and searched and was able to find my girls some at Nordstrom's and I had to buy the adult ones through Nordstrom Online. I had to get the red and black which I wasn't really sure about cuz they are pretty bright (I wanted the black and red) but so far I haven't really noticed a difference between the real crocs and the fake. In fact the real ones seem harder. But I am wondering if they will "break in" as I wear them more.

And YES I wear socks with mine in the winter time and my girls wore socks with theirs last summer cuz their feet sweated and they were getting blisters from the back strap. I don't wear the strap, I wear them like clogs but they need the strap to keep them on.

I love them though and wear them whenever I can (unless it is raining )

I can't stand Crocks. They are NOT good for your feet, ( molded plastic) they are ugly and overpriced. I have tried them and can't wear them, the little button that holds the strap on the shoe hits my foot in such a way it's very irritating. I have a pair of normal looking CROC flip flops and I can wear them some but never all day at Disneyland. I wear KEENS which is a real shoe with a real built in arch support.

Be aware that just because a shoe LOOKS like a Croc does not make them a Croc, ie: $9 at Walmart or Target.

down with crocks, wear a REAL shoe!!
