Well we had a DCL booked for next Oct, we were travelling with Virgin flydrive and booked cruise with them too. £3800.

But with all this talk about free dinning, i could not resist and have changed to go Sept, staying at Pop Century for 2 weeks with everything in and have upgraded to Perferred room for £2900ish.

So mega bucks saving lol, 900 on holiday and $$$ with free dinning.

What is the preferred room?

Excellent news Ginette :thumbsup2

Preferred Rooms ~ Mean that you can fax/ask Disney for your preference of room at the resort.

If you're asking what preferred rooms are, they are usually the rooms closest to the food court/main pool that have a slightly higher charge, If you're not asking, I misunderstood your post , sorry Florence

Cheers i was asking, i have paid £13 per night extra and brochure does not say much about the perferred room.

Will it be a guarantee if i pay the extra charge, if not i will take it off and hope for the best.

The preferred rooms at Pop are for the two closest blocks to the main building and pool, so more convenient. It doesn't guarantee you a specific room number, just the block. Hope this helps and great saving :thumbsup2

Cheers.

The savings means more spending, my favourite past time. $$$$$$$$

Like the idea being near the pool and main building, we tend to be placed the furthest away in ASM, to the fact we went to *** resort to get bus and drinks.

My tired feet will be very thankfully.lol

See you there Princess;)

The preffered building at Pop Century is the 60's.

It used to be that the 60s building was preffered. However that has now changed and not all the rooms in the 60's are preferred. Now there are also preferred rooms in the 50's, 70's buildings as well.

Princess Jackson - did you book direct with virgin or an agent?

Great news, Ginette, sounds like a fantastic trip. We were in a preferred room at the Pop on our trip in April, and that was in the 60s building. We have also stayed in the 50s building though, so I can tell you that one is very handy for the food court/shop/bus stops as well.

We are there for the last 3 nights of our trip. 28th - 1st Oct
