So you guys know about my friend from school with the brain cancer right? Well, this chemo's not working.
This is I think the 2nd or 3rd set of treatment she's on, and there are more experimental treatments she can try.
Still, it stinks.
Ughhhh.
To make it worse, I have checkups tomorrow. My scans are clear but it doesn't help with the fear.

So, if you could keep her in your thoughts or prayers? I'd really appreciate it, and I'm sure she would too.

Alright so, everything is okay. My scans are clear and my doctors were thrilled to see me. I got upgraded to check-ups every 4 months, instead of 3.
My orthopedic oncologist is leaving in June, so we're sad about that. He is actually pretty confused as to where the pain in my knee is coming from. I'm on my last resort now - pain patches. I haven't been using them long enough to know if they make a difference, but if it doesn't we're going to surgery. My dad is vehemently opposed to surgery, and is totally convinced it's for the worse. (IE- infection will set in, leg is amputated) I have faith in my doctor and I trust him. So, we'll see where that goes.

I haven't heard from my friend. I'm not surprised actually, I know if it were me I'd clam up.
