No, never! I have been to many a b-and-b up and down your fair country and it's almost always offered it seems, but I just could NOT bring myself to partake at such an early hour.

Does one have it with one's eggs and toast or what? ALso a serious question.

I've already forgotten the German for pain au chocolat. Those nutty Germans and their mile-long words. Who could forget fahrvergnuggen...or whatever.

You eat kippers on their own. I think they're ok BUT not for breakfast! I'm with you all the way on that one!

Have I asked you that already? I only ask bc I'm wondering how many stones I may have recently gained...uuugh!!! Serious question.

Kippers are smoked fish, herring I think, I'll find out. And then usually gently fried in a little butter. They're quite big. Most people just eat them with bread and butter.

A stone is 14 pounds.

Yeah, we're going! Hotel (Riverside) isn't booked yet. We're going to set the dates today and Roland's going to put in for the leave next week, then I'll book - I am definitely the green bouncy thingie!!!

I can't remember, has anyone got Leo Decaprio (sp?) for their boy? I saw him on TV last night, can't see the attraction at all! And I heard his real voice for the first time - the German dubbed one's nicer!
He was on with Tom Hanks and Steven SPielberg (who was so shy) - guess what film opens here this weekend! They lost the bet they made and had to do a forfeit - it was a very harmless one. They all had their photo taken with a granny from the audience. Leo was making unhappy faces about it but Tom was SUCH a gentleman. He made them all escort her back to her seat and let her hug and smooch him to death. Dusted her seat off for her, tucked her into her shawl and then bowed goodbye. The audience LOVED him!

You'll not believe this - I did a full ketchup! Ok, I might have skimmed just a leeetle bit! I horayed for all the good news, snuffled for all the bad. No straps, hair up, tendrils. SO glad for your mum-problem Betty, went even better than I'd hoped. Thanks for His and waves and PD, much appreciated!

Hi all! Just popping in before we have to go pick up the kids and do the church thing. Then the choir thing. Then the superbowl thing. I hope I have some time today to do my tape!!

Carol, a Betty Sketti doll is a plastic doll....the yaya's are buying them up by the truckload for Betty from McDonalds (they are the happy meal treat). Ok someone cut me a break and post a picture please!

Karen, glad to hear your tummy was better last night (I was wondering where all the orange juce went! )

Sherry, the pastas was........OK. Like I said, I like my past al dente, but this was, well tooooo al dente. And it doesn't matter how long you cook it, it won't get softer. But that was the rigatoni, so I am going to get the spaghetti next time and try it. Yeah Kim, in the diabetic section I found pasta....80% fewer carbs than regular, but if color of food turns you off, well, it is BROWN!!! At least I got to eat some spaghetti with no guilt, made fat free ranch dressing with fat free sour cream...not bad!

Hi Carol! So nice to see you. Sure have missed you girl.

Hi Beth.....if you are at work, hurry and finish and go home and relax sweetie. I will e-mail you later today. Got your PM. MOLD! LOL

DIL couldn't get DG's fever down, had given her Aleve. Her dad told her Aleve doesn't work for everyone, and to get children's Tylenol. (Her Dad was a famous soccer coach in Poland, and their coaches have to go to med school for 3 yrs. so he is pretty savvy about that stuff.) DIL said she would call me back if GD got worse, but no call...so good sign. I will call when I think they are up.

Nope Nancy! Not telling what my surprise is. But even the YaYa's who can't make the meet will get one. DH thought it was a good idea, so I'm excited!

Kim, I am going to love those highlights!! That looks awesome!

Where has Beccy been? She hasn't posted since she said she couldn't go to the meet.

Good morning all. I arrived home this am safe and sound after a rather harrowing trip home through a nasty snowstorm. I drove through one town and didn't know I'd been through it because I couldn't see it! My lead foot was a little lighter today, Elaine!

HAH! Betty! Elaine couldn't be a bad influence? We don't have Yankee Candle stores up here, just a little corner in the Hallmark, and remember me? I swore I wouldn't buy one of these bracelets, but I am now the proud owner of one that sports a soccer ball, a nurse cap, and a dolphin. Gotta get kissing Mickey and Minnie, and YaYa sister for sure!

We got back from the mall about 9 and went straight to bed, I was one tired YaYa! DD wouldn't quit talking about all the computer stuff she learned from Luis (who she thinks is cute, but won't admit to it now).

Lion King on IMAX is awesome! It feels like you are in the movie!

Karen, I'm sending you a PM about your stomach problems. You can ignore me if you want, but I'm going to give you some Elder YaYa nurse advice. Do with it what you want.

Every time I turned around it seemed like Elaine was taking pictures, so hopefully she will find some good ones to post. She managed pictures even when I was doing my best to avoid getting one taken.

Jodie, there was a Dream charm at that kiosk that you are just going to have to get! It came in several colors, but I couldn't remember if you already had it, otherwise you would've had one in your mail in a few days!
