Hi everybody. Just stopping in to say Hi before I head off to do a little housework. Spent the day in town...hair color day. Had her do something a little different today...she put the usual mahogany color on, then over that weaved a bright (and I mean BRIGHT red. Looks nice! I go in next week for a trim and will have her graduate the sides a bit for the first time in about 3 years. I'll have Tom take a pic when I'm all done and beee-u-tee-ful.

Deb, little Stitch looks so CUTE all strapped in and ready to go!! He is just the cutest little thing!!

Karen, my goodness. You poor thing. Hugs sweetie.... I wish I could do something to help you. What was it you picked up the other day... was it ginger? I've forgotten now.... has it helped any? How about peppermint? I hear that can soothe the tummy...also plain old fashioned Coca Cola. Some pharmacies even sell Cola syrup...or they can order it.

Got back from the grocery store awhile ago. Thankfully, it wasn't as cold out as the last couple days.

Kim, yes, you can just buy the toy, without having to subject yourself to McD's food! LOL Just tell them you want the toy. They are usually a dollar and some change. We've done it plenty of times.

Sherry, I am going to try that low carb pasta tonite. I boiled a few to see how they would taste...no taste! Better than what I thought. I thought they would taste icky. I bought the rotini. It won't cook past al dente, but that's OK, I like my pasta al dente. I will let you know how it tastes with sauce. I promise to be honest!

Well, don't feel much like DISing. DS & DIL called, and Petite GD has a temp going between 102 and 103. They don't have a doctor by their new house. I found them a medical center about 10 min. from their house and told them to call. Hopefully it has an emergency room. I'm all nervous now.

Maybe I will be back later.

Thanks everyone. Im feeling much better now. A little soup and some sleep did me a world of good. No more taking that med again. That was just too scary. I very nearly had dh take me to the ER and I HATE ER with a passion.

I was able to make DS's game and we went out to the grocery store afterward. Got supplies for tonights dinner and tomorrow for the big game and for tomorrow nights dinner. Ham steaks. UMMMMMMMM.

My body must still be trying to flush this out of my system because I have had three large glasses of orange juice and I never drink it.

Marilyn I am saying prayers for your petite yaya. How scary it is when their temps go that high. My eldest used to run temps like that before he had his tonsils taken out.

Nancy... my stationery making buddy....I have a question for you. Although I haven't gotten brave enough yet to try to make my own (I'm afraid I'm too ditzy to understand it all! ) I am trying to find some sites where I can download some good stuff. Do you have any favorite places? I love some of the cute stuff out there, but am getting a little tired of the kitties, puppies, flowers and unicorns. LOL! Guess that's why I should be looking into making my own. One artist I do love is whoever it is that has the little House Mouse line... too cute!!

Thanks Sherry....I think I'm really going to like them. They're pretty extreme, but then again... I guess that's why I like them. the sections of mine that have the highlights aren't as broad or chunky as in that pic...she did a good job of evenly distributing the color...looks nice.

Im not sure what that med did to me but I cannot stop drinking tonight. I have had three glasses of orange juice and two glasses of iced tea and Im still thirsty. I will have my doc put a very large note on my chart never ever ever to give me that med again. I will deal with the anxiety my stomach causes. My tummy feels good tonight though even with all the orange juice Ive been drinking! Dh just made beef stroganoff and I just had a nice helping of that too!!

Kim what I bought was papaya enzyme tablets. They seem to work to help digest food but they dont do anything for the pain I feel in my stomach some of the time. That has been abating a bit lately though thankfully.

Kim I cant wait to see your highlights. You have such pretty hair anyway. I bet they look wonderful!!!

Well, I am kinda sleepy. DH took me to the California Pizza Kitchen today. It was yummy. Then we walked around the Mall of the Millenia. Can you say PRICEY!!

Girls are spending the night at friends....no phone calls yet, so I guess everything is ok.

Off to do my ab tape. DH bought me new workout shoes, an exercise mat and some 8 pd. dumbells. I guess I better use them! LOL!
