I would love to be the guest of honor. I just have to figure out how the whole chat thing works. I tried once with my old computer and couldn't get anything I typed to show up. I know IM. So I wil have to practice using the chat before we do it!!!

I'm copying my digi pix to a cd rom so I can save them as negatives. We put all of our negatives in a safety deposit box so that we won't lose them. So I'm doing a copy and then i'm doing anotehr one to put in the box. Now I really want to take them to wal greeens or some place and try printing them from the cd. I always end up fighting with my printer and then I don't finish printing them. Alas, I can't go out tonight as the snow is hampering the driving. We are in a winter storm advisory. It's not too bad yet, but some people don't know how to drive and I don't want to be among the casualties!!

LOL Liz. Greg's got the moving fever huh I've grown up here so I'm a partial to the state. Only way I'm leaving is for a mandatory job transfer!! We get maybe 2 snow storms/ice storms a year....some really serious thunderstorms, tornado's, and hurricanes Other than that it's beautiful!!! Cost of living isn't half as bad as some states. Our tax rate is 7.0% as far as I know...plus a 2% food tax. When it comes to house...the price is based on what area of the state it's in. Our house just happens to be in Cary so the price was HIGH(between 200K and 250K...take this same house down the road by about 45 minutes and it'll be $40K cheaper. Now the job market here is a different story....it SUCKS!!!

His boss has said that it won't affect them..unless the whole group is going...in which case the boss would have no clue about. I work for a pharmaceutical company and love it..just have to have my degree to move up past secretary status.
We also have a lot of software companies that aren't doing so wonderful. hmmm...that's all I know to tell ya off the top of my head...does Greg have any specific questions??

Niether of us can believe the cost of housing there!! A house that size here would cost at least $300,000, but we also suffer witht he job market as well. I would love to get into a pharmecutical company!! Any tips on how to go about that?? Is it true that the sales people are generally those very young and cute, perky girls?????? Not that I have anything against those types of people....I am just not young or cute......perky I can sometimes do OK, yes, I am jealous!!! I am crossing my fingers for Derek....it would not be fun to have to try and find a job right about now. I have just started "looking" again and it is looking pretty grim. I think once I have my physical therepy started and get back from Disney, then I will get a bit more serious!!!

Boy it is a good thing we aren't in the B&B yet.....our neighbors little dog Charlie ran away from home today...guess where he ran...so he was in our back yard and I went to open the sliding door and in he runs. He makes himself quite comfortable at Barkley's water bowl and then went strolling around the house!! It was kinda funny how he was just too comfy. So we got him and Greg returned him to his owner on the other side of our neighborhood. I don't understand how people could not realize that their little furbabies are out and running about!!! Especially when it is sooooooo cold out!! Barkley is NEVER without a leash!!! So, it is a good thing Charlie is not gonna be anybody's dinner tonight!!!!

Oh well, time for some jello or better yet a popsicle!!!! More later.....

It's still snowing here but they are talking about rain over night, which I'm no meteorologist but if it stays 22 degrees and turns to rain, I'm thinking it just might be ice tomorrow morning. But hey who am I to say. Our superintendent obviously knows more than i do!! grr.....
