Hi guys! I'm back! I have to HIGHLY recommend the movie Big Fish. It's a wonderful film! So...how is everyone doing this glorius day?

Hey Von Well dont keep us in suspense tell us about your movie date last night.
Tara well since she know about everything I dont think that is very nice. When she is sending people on break you should be the first she considers and then when you tell her you have to go she needs to let you go and pick up the slack while you get yourself settled down again. What is she going to do when you pass out in the floor in front of the customers Not good for you and Im sure a that would scare a kid or two.
I just watched my Linkin Park dvd--very good! I think it makes it even better because it was filmed here during the Metallica Summer Sanitorium tour and we were there!! Of course I didnt see us anywhere but still cool

Tara, I wouldn't be happy with a "she felt bad for it" kind of response. If you have the need to take diabetic pills, she should be aware of that and realize that at least for a while, that you will need to be treated more delicately.

You know I love Half Priced books... where else can you get 15 CDs and 4 45s for $15? Oh and I can't remember who said it before, but I am pretty sure they do not make 45s anymore... I can only seem to find them used right now.

my date last night? well....it was great! we went to one theatre and realized the movie guide had been wrong about which theatre the movie was being shown in and walked to the other theatre. it was so much fun! we walked and talked and joked and kissed all the way there and all the way back! great night!

Tara I agree with Elaine and Deena...managers should give you special considerations for breaks. Was she just the MOD or is she the overal store manager? If she's just the MOD I'd have a talk with the big cheese about future occurrences.

Kristy, they were having a 20% off sale, but still most of my CDs were $1 and the 45s are 25 cents. If you have Half Priced books, that is a great place to go!

I must tell you I am domesticaly challenged!! It has taken me all day to get my room and batheroom cleaned and the laundry done...which by the way is still not done...one load in teh dryer, one in the washer and a blanket after that!!! The good news is everything is dusted, folded, put away and cleaned out. I guess if I die during surgery, I am ready at least!!! Have I mentioned I HATE to clean. I love to cook, but hate to clean. So, that has been my day. Looks like you all have been busy with some eye candy!!! Delicious pics!!! Oh well, there goes teh dryer....arghh, will I ever be done. Remind me to wash clothes more often so there is not so much to do!!!!!! Gonna go make dinner and call it a night. Have a great week everybody!! I am pooped!!!

Back from the movie.....we all loved it!
Von...glad the date was good. We're also looking forward to seeing Big Fish. It's on limited release here.....so since we live in the boonies, we'll have to wait for it to get a tad closer.

It's snowing!! Why now!!?? I have that long drive to the airport tomorrow. Ick! People here don't know how to drive in the snow.
Hopefully it will warm up and melt overnight. I can hope

Kristy, most of what I get are older CDs... I usually only get the $1 ones... the newer ones are about $6 or so. You'll laugh, but I picked up a Debbie Gibson CD that I once had on tape

Tara, I've got one expecting right now and have had in the past...I've always bent the rules a little and let them keep sucking candies onstage...heck, I need them since the store's so dry. I'm in a newer store, so our computer is onstage, and we can pretend to be doing something on there if needed. She'd have a bigger problem if you passed out...incident report, taking people away to tend to you! Hang in there...the opressively slow nights are right around the corner!

Ya Ya road trip, sounds great! Just not the second week of May, 'kay? I'm surprising DH with a DCL cruise for his 40th b'day and I want him to be aboard for that day! I see Bethie has her Merlot, Kristy has her Crown, I'll bring my Spatlese or White Zinfandel! Just no sangria for me (long story!)

Nancy, Wow, look at all my cabana hotties...I don't think there will be any sleeping in my room, hubba hubba!!!! Thanks for all the yummy pictures!!!!! Did I tell you my SIL is Nancy, too and she's a huge Meriweather fan, too?

Kristy, we used to do by genre, too, but there are way too many artists that we have that cross genres...plus it'd get annoying trying to look through the collection (somewhere around 1000) to find where my hubby moved my jazz discs! The compromise was completely alpha, except that the christmas cds have their own personal box (he had over 50 of them when we started dating)

Lainey, don't laugh, but I have Debbie Gibson's entire catalog...I went to school with her older siblings and younger sister went K-12 with Debbie, so I feel I should by the CDs and remember what she looked like with no front teeth! Where are these $1 cd places? The cheapest around here are the pawnshops, and they're 5 bucks each.
Liz, time surely slips away when housecleaning, but drags at other times. I am going to be doing the domestic destruction tomorrow and I'm sure I won't get very far at all! I can't remember who had the saying on here "cleaning when you have kids is like shoveling snow during a blizzard", because it is VERY true!

PoohSuzanne, I am glad I am not the only one who has her music then! So cool your family went to school with her family!! Very neat! The place I go is http://www.halfpricebooks.com/ I find a lot of cool "discount" CDs... they usually aren't all that great selection, but I have a good range of music so I usually can find about 10-20 each time I go.

back from dinner. Once again I'm reminded why I'm not married. I think this poor girl will be an acoholic before this wedding is finished!!! The wediding is saturday so hopefully she will make it!

Didn't get to dress shop, Jarrod was less than cooperative this afternoon. So he goes to school tomorrow so I can shop in peace!!

Von...keep me straight! Glad things went well.

I need to clean, I need to knit, I need to do a lot of things but I think I will dis for a few more minutes and then hit the bed!!

I think we should call PoohSuzanne Poohzanne...rhymes with Suzanne anyway, lol My little ones want mommy at bedtime too, although they will take daddy too they usually want me. I enjoy it now since I have a 16 yr old I know I wont be needed at bedtime forever
As for the cleaning I hate it too. Plus I have a house full of guys who like to mess it up but not clean it up. Well dh is good about helping out without me asking--AND he doesnt gripe while doing it. But usually when he gets home from work the little ones are all over him til they crash out by then so does he, lol.
