OK, need some info from the Virginians.
I lived in Norfolk (6 mos) and Va. Beach (6 mos) but that was years ago when DH was in the Navy. There is a plant in Norfolk. How are the schools out there? Cost of living? Anything that y'all could tell me? I loved VA when I ws there before.

Or we'll do another one at Busch Gardens, which is even closer to Norfolk!! Good to get all your info ahead of time. My ex (who was active duty) and I would do that every time he had to fill out his "dream sheet" for his next transfer.

Kristy, don't know anything about the Disney bears. Do I need to shop for you when I am there the end of the month? Be happy to look for anything!

Sorry, Deena, just noticed you asked about my license. We have to renew every 4 years and since mine expires on my b-day this year, I went today to do it. My pic is HORRIBLE!!

Jeannie! How are you girl? I love seeing Joshypoo in those commercials. He looks soooo hot w/out a shirt. I've been hinting and hinting and hinting to DH how badly I wanna see that movie. We might be picking VA as our second choice. Not sure if that is any closer to you or not.

Thanks, Beth. I really did love VA for the short time I was there. Would've loved to have stayed but when your out of the Navy, your out. We had no $$ and no family so ended up coming back here.

DH might not even ever get an opening to be transferred, or it could be a year or two if he even does. But, I wanna be prepared just in case.

Va beach is wonderful...cost of living, I couldnt' tell ya, I have lived in the same house since 1986. Gas is around $1.40. Schools are wondeful (of course b/c I work in one), they have their problems but all systems do. We have one disney store in va beach and one in Chesapeake. Don't know what plant you are talking about. We have all kinds of plants...azalea, roses, crepe myrtle trees, oak trees, daisys, pansies, a few tulips. Let me know if there are any other kinds of plants you want to know about!

UGH! Never made it to the jacuzzi the other night....was too tired adn went to bed, last night had a bad sinus headache went to bed at 9. No head banging today, I gave activities that didn't require them to cause me to bang my head. Hoping it will last until tomorrow. Jarrod got in trouble for biting a child at school yesterday...I wanted to kill him. I couldn't believe he would do something like that. He promised to be good today.

can't think of anythign else to ketchup on right now, gotta go get the punk, go to the grocery store and go home. I think I will head for bed early again tonight!!

Liz.....here's a picture of one of the Disney bears.

we have an exact version of him...named Bernie..he belongs to Derek. Then I got a medium brown one named Bess. They're SO much cuter in the stores than in pictures. They also come in MANY different colors...just can't remember which ones. Was trying to find another place online to buy them at.
Beth...if I'm unsuccessful I would love your help when you're in WDW.

Sorry all, not in a very chatty mood right now... had a very crappy end to my day. They were doing layoffs this afternoon and now it is snowing. Not sure what stuff I'll go in to tomorrow either. I hate work sometimes.
